Central - four - "on a four". Were in April 2013. The two weeks went by quickly, which is good. First impressions are very positive: private transfer in a decent car with a pleasant driver. And the same cafe "Elefant", where Stirlitz "visited", is also opposite. Russian-speaking staff, a decent restaurant, but with a limited number of tables for two. Tolerable food: took FB. Nice buffet in the morning. Lunch and dinner - with a partial buffet: salads, vegetables, fruits, pastries. The main thing is to order from the menu. On the unpretentious - super. There was always tea (bags) and coffee. There is no kettle in the room. There are 2 small glasses of water in the minibar. bottles at exorbitant prices (60 crowns each). If you leave the hotel and walk a little - the same, but in plastic - 15 crowns. Yoghurts, buns from breakfast were taken to the room. The ducks ate the bread. Cleaned the room every day, quickly and unobtrusively. Towels were also changed without any problems, the bed was changed 2 times. We only went to the pool in bathrobes, they were not changed. The pool is good, moderately chlorinated water, 27-28 grams, but if there are more than 3 people in it, then this is already a lot. Although, we were still at a time when the hotel was not full. We often swam together (no extra charge, whenever you want: open from 7 am to 7 pm with a short break). Served by two good guys. They are masseurs. The countercurrent in the pool completely replaces the underwater massage. Nearby - jacuzzi with warm min. water (37 degrees). The hotel is wonderfully located, in appearance - also one of the solid ones.
Of the negatives: 1) treatment and medical staff (the head nurse is a big rude aunt, for whom you are initially to blame for everything). No better and aunt-doctor, which everything except pay - well, absolutely nothing. It is better to treat yourself, and choose water for yourself too. The masseurs are good and different. Here, too, it is better to decide for yourself: figure out how. 2) Washbasin was leaking in our room. After washing the swimsuits, I had to mop the floor too: I didn’t want to wag my nerves and contact the reception. 3) While the heating was on, the swimsuit and other little things could be dried. But, when they turned it off, + another problem (there is a lot of humidity there). 4) Who does not run during the day and does not immediately fall asleep, will listen to the noise of the included mini-bar. And in general - it's probably - the little things. Wonderful nature, birds singing, ringing keys on the embankment, the proximity of beautiful springs, good health (there is low atmospheric pressure) - all this compensates for a lot. Shall we go to Central again? Do not know. You can try Pupp, Bristol-Palace. But you can return. If active and loud Russians and Kazakhs don't annoy you (there are almost no Ukrainians, and Germans - even more so) - you can go to Central. Happy holidays!

During breakfast, lunch and dinner, the manager walked around the restaurant, who was he following? , either for the staff, or for our spoons, his face was incomprehensible. There was an awkward feeling among both the guests and the staff. There was nowhere to hang and dry underwear in the bathroom. The bathroom was cold, there was not even a towel dryer. You can’t stand it in the pool for more than 20 minutes, your head starts to hurt from the rich smell of bleach, both in the water and in the air. There was also a problem with drying the swimsuit in the room. There was no entertainment, not even music (which is practiced in many Karlovy Vary hotels) during dinner or on weekends. The kingdom of sadness and despondency. Treatment is standard, no different from other hotels. At the weekend you will go on an excursion, the main thing is to warn the hotel so that you are removed from the food, dry rations (as in all hotels) were not provided. 4 star hotel, not cheap, don't waste your hard earned money on such a holiday. An excellent hotel, I managed to visit it twice, in 2010 (April) with the whole family and in January 2012. Very good location in the resort area relative to water sources, dietary, varied food, everything is delicious, very friendly staff, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a vacation in Karlovy Vary!! ! And I also forgot, the pool is cool right in the hotel, clean big with sauna and jacuzzi !!!!! !.

Food in the restaurant is a buffet, with a pre-order of main dishes for lunch and dinner, dairy, juices, fruits, everything is fresh. Czech crowns are in circulation, euros can also be used.
