Residence Bologna 3*+ is a brand new hotel located in the very center of Prague, next to Bethlem Square, 200 meters from Charles Bridge and within walking distance from Old Town Square. Here, as well as possible, once in the labyrinths of the Old Town, you can feel the breath of ancient Prague. The hotel building was built in 1928 by architect Viktor Kafka in a functionalist style.More →

2. The room was clean upon arrival
3. Small price for accommodation
Disadvantages:
1. For 7 days they never cleaned the room. Even after asking. But soap at the same time lay down every day.
2. Towels changed after 2 requests
3. Food is monotonous, insipid, scarce. On the 3rd day it starts to get boring.
Conclusion: you can live, provided that you will only spend the night in the room.

A large hotel in a historic building (Kafka once lived here), made in the Baroque style. Well restored, with a claim to luxury. The rooms are very pleased, large, beautiful, good furniture, clean. The center meets my requirements.

I have never seen a worse hotel than Bologna, even in the provincial towns of Russia. Only one plus is the location. All sights can be reached on foot. Cons: 1. because. arrival in Prague before check-in at the hotel, your belongings are stored in the luggage room until 14-00, the keys to which are given to everyone and no one monitors which suitcase is taken. When we arrived, we didn't find our suitcase. The lady at the reception reacted completely indifferently to this - we have never had anything like this. I had to insist on a manager. The manager offered to watch the video (as if seeing a person with our suitcase, we wouldn’t have to look for him). Fortunately, the issue was resolved by itself, because. the German Frau mixed up the suitcases and dragged our suitcase to her room, after 40 minutes she came to her senses and came to change. The hotel staff didn't even apologize for the incident, let alone more. 2. The rooms do not have air conditioning and if the room faces the street, then you should sleep with the windows open to the noise of the tourist crowd (and the Germans and Italians are very loud). 3. The furniture in the rooms is disgusting and half broken (the beds are actually bars that should be placed in the frame). The parquet is scratched with black stripes and has been in need of repair for a long time. The lifting mechanisms on the windows are broken. There are only 3 hangers in the closet for a double room. There are no utensils and cutlery in the kitchen (only a ladle and 2 forks). 4. Towels are not changed, even if you throw them on the floor (how long you live there, you will use these towels for as long, the staff does not react). The floor in the room is not washed. only in the bathroom. 5. Breakfast is very poor, only ham, sausage, cheese and pastries. And every day the same set. Juice is watered down Jupi. No eggs, no scrambled eggs, let alone porridge.
Dear Russians and Russian speakers - choose any other hotel. Even if not in Prague 1. It will be better both in terms of money and in terms of service. And the transport in Prague goes great and you will not have any problems with moving. Be smart, learn from the mistakes of others.

We had numbers 400 and 411, through the wall of which we even heard a vibrating alert, mind you, it was the vibrating alert, of our neighbors. We had a room with a kitchen. True, I don’t understand why she is, if she doesn’t have not only dishes, but even detergents for her dishes. As experienced travelers, we took everything with us - kettle, iron, hair dryer, etc. The breakfast is minimalistic, even for little ones. But it is still excusable for Europe. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. All the negative aspects of her brightened up a good company and the city itself. the area is really quiet and the center is close, but it's better to find a hotel 20 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square than to live in such a barn. This is my third visit to Prague and I can definitely say that the Czechs just got drunk. Hotel and restaurant prices have risen significantly, and the quality has deteriorated significantly. And this is absolutely true, since in the period from 04.06. - 07.06. 2012 we arrived in Dresden. And for a lower price lived in an absolutely wonderful hotel. Where the rooms were really standard, and breakfast can only be spoken of in superlatives. I have never written on websites about my impressions of hotels, but this time I could not resist. NEVER STAY IN THIS TALL IN PRAGUE.

Perhaps at other times of the year it would not be so relevant, but now this is problem number 1 - there is no air conditioning in the room! The air conditioning mentioned in the description is present only in the restaurant on the ground floor. Perhaps there is somewhere else, in the suites, for example. But not in ordinary rooms (we lived on the 5th floor). As for the kitchenettes and refrigerators in each room, they also lied. Did not have. The bathroom is decent, the hair dryer is working, but it’s better to buy gel and shampoo yourself. The vaunted satellite TV allows you to watch as many as 4 channels, 3 of which are in Italian. Only MTV helped out. (Although it makes sense to watch TV when you are in Prague). Fans of a thorough refreshment in the morning are also not here - cheese, sausage, ham, muesli, 1 type of bread, 4 types of sweet pastries, coffee, tea and juice. That's all there was. . . In this regard, the heat is even beneficial - I didn’t feel like eating at all. Pros: Convenient location and friendly staff. At the reception, a couple of people speak Russian, and if you still know English or German, then no problems at all. The restaurant on the ground floor is staffed by a charming girl named Mila, who is half Russian. She always gave very practical advice on the choice of dishes and wine. On Friday and weekend evenings in the restaurant show program. If you leave a tip, they give free coffee from the restaurant. In general, if we had been there at a different time, in autumn, for example, the impression would have been much better. . .

The audience is decent, mostly Italians, Germans. Quite in line with the price. Near the subway, beer, supermarket, Charles Bridge is really 10 minutes.

DISGUSTING HOTEL! ! Just a shame, this is a maximum of 2 *, but oh well, first things first! We rested there from 14.04. 08 to 21.04. 08! From the aisle, the hotel met not very good-naturedly..... the so-called hotel lobby or reception is simply missing! We went through the door and found ourselves as if in the entrance, where the concierge is sitting! We begin to take shape, as a hotel guest, a foreign grandmother, approaches and begins to complain about the lack of paper; according to her, she ended 2 days ago and asks the girl at the reception to give her papers, because she has an “urgent”. The girl did not react to this, but asked to wait until she finished the design! After a cry from her grandmother, the girl handed her 2 rolls after all! We got the keys and went to the room on the 1st floor, BUT the key didn't work! ! They invited some man (it is not clear who he is, either the chief or the supply manager), he began to try it himself, but it really doesn’t fit, but the number on the key is correct ! ! We were offered another room on the 4th floor…. The key came up and I was stunned... the room is not really small... The one on the first floor is just a suite compared to this (we managed to peep the next room)) A request to change the room or fix problems with my key to the room on the first floor was denied! “Everything is busy, if you want, pay extra 120 euros and we will accommodate you on the 6th floor with a veranda! Not interesting. . . In the bathroom, we saw one bar of soap and two probes, which are usually given with fashion magazines, shower gel! For the entire stay at the hotel, we were never informed of any soap, no gel, no shampoo, nothing !! ! Although the cleaning was carried out, but as we noticed, only garbage was thrown out ! ! THE BED IS NOT CHANGED! On the very last day, we found ourselves after cleaning 4 bars of soap, 4 packs of shampoo and 4 packs of gel....Looks like a joke? ? For breakfast: tea, coffee, ham, cheese, pastries, muesli!! ! There is no hot! Before leaving, we were waiting for a transfer on the first floor and saw something....The girl came out of her "booth" and is smoking!! ! The Italians arrived to check in, and she smokes... As we guessed, for some reason they don’t have numbers for everyone and they were offered other options (again, our supply manager intervened or who is he there ?! ). And also there is a redecoration of the elevator zone, noisy and dirty ! ! Full HELLO! This is not my first vacation, I have something to compare! There is no such thing ANYWHERE!! ! This is the most expensive "three rubles", and the service is disgusting! Moreover, after talking with other vacationers, this is not the case in other hotels, they are even better: linen is changed, hot breakfast, and 1.5 times cheaper! Yes, they are a little further from the center, but are you ready to pay 1.5 times more and live in a PIGsty? ? Me not! Good luck with choosing a hotel!

In principle, I completely agree with the previous author. The first (and only) plus of the hotel is the location. Only "Adria" was better in my practice (but this is 4 * +). I don’t even want to say how many minutes to the center - this is the center! Everything else - in full accordance with the fact that the hostess of the hotel comes from the Soviet Union. … More ▾ In principle, I completely agree with the previous author. Everything else - in full accordance with the fact that the hostess of the hotel comes from the Soviet Union. Repairs were still ongoing in November-December, dirt in the corridor is a normal phenomenon, an armored door in the room is a special song (in general, not very frail, but I opened it with both feet against the wall and holding the handle with both hands) Wife in general I couldn’t open it : (. The question about this at the reception remained open until the end of the trip... There is a jacuzzi, but they promised to connect it by the end of the year : ( When we lived there, they made elevator shafts - the oak tree in the corridor was creepy. stayed on the 8th day of our stay after repeated requests (we lived there for 9 days in total). Bath - normal for a three-ruble note; linen was changed twice. There is a stove, dishes - as Olga wrote - zero (we bought two cups and a boiler in the Tesco department store — in the evenings to drink tea with delicious Czech buns — left as a gift to the hotel) Breakfast, in my opinion, is the standard for a European triple (I would put 3-).
By the way, despite the other reviews on the Internet, the hotel ABSOLUTELY does not speak Russian (what they should speak was one of the criteria for choosing this particular hotel of my wife). True, everyone understands (as elsewhere in Prague).
Summary: I can recommend this hotel only to those whose main priority is the location - CENTER. Everything else, unfortunately, scoop. And rightly said - it is not worth that kind of money.
PS: two words about the tour operator company. We traveled with the firm "TsBB tourism" (St. Petersburg). In general, no complaints, BUT... I read on the internet that this hotel was being renovated in September and, therefore, I directly asked the manager Olga whether it was over. They told me it was over. . . : (
But, by the way, the beauty of Prague, the goodwill of the Czechs, the excellent Czech cuisine - all this outweighs the scales!
