During our stay in Munich we stayed at the 4* Fleming's Hotel Munchen-City. The hotel was chosen according to the ratio of location-price-quality and was not mistaken. It is located 100 meters from the main station, but you won’t hear trains here - firstly, they are quiet in Germany, and secondly, between the station and the hotel there is a solid building of the Sofitel Hotel, which absorbs all possible sounds.

During our stay in Munich we stayed at the 4* Fleming's Hotel Munchen-City. The hotel was chosen according to the ratio of location-price-quality and was not mistaken. It is located 100 meters from the main station, but you won’t hear trains here - firstly, they are quiet in Germany, and secondly, between the station and the hotel there is a solid building of the Sofitel Hotel, which absorbs all possible sounds. One block from the hotel begins the famous chain of streets, where shops attract thousands of shoppers. Two blocks the other way and you're in Teresa Meadow, where the beer festival takes place.
The hotel has 6 residential floors, a restaurant and a basement with a garage, a sauna and a fitness room. The official check-in time is from 14.30. We arrived at about 11 am, settled without a single question and request from our side, without additional payment. Only Germans, true Aryans, work at the reception and in the restaurant. When settling in, they pre-authorize the cost of living on your card + block the amount of 50 oiro per day with a deposit. Silently, quietly. I noticed by chance, having received SMS from the bank. Upon check-out, the amount of the deposit will be released. No one speaks Russian, there is also no information in Russian, although there are a lot of ours in the hotel.
The room has a minibar / refrigerator, hair dryer, air conditioning. Daily bring 3 fruits on a plate + welcome sweets on the bed. For the first time I met a hotel without a kettle in the room. But at the reception you can take an umbrella-cane for free if it rains.
The hotel is positioned as a "design", because, in addition to stylish black furniture with original colored lighting, there is such a feature as a glass shower. I explain - the wall between the living room and the bathroom is made of glass. Those. washing or taking a shower, you please your partner's gaze with your appearance. You can see it in the photo of the hotel, but not everyone seems to notice. If you are with children, they will have to stand in the corridor during the water procedures of their parents. Or take a two-level room "maisonette".
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in almost all rooms (see when booking), but to get it you need to ask the reception for a special coupon with a password. The receptionists themselves "forget" to offer. The volume is limited, then you need to ask for the next coupon.
The breakfast is very decent: 6-7 types of smoked meat and sausages, salted salmon, 4-6 varieties of cheese (including white mold and mozzarella balls), vegetables, fruits, pastries, yogurts, dry food, excellent juices. Fried eggs and omelettes on request. It is not mentioned when booking, but breakfast is included in the bill as a separate line, 13 oiro per person, incl. If you don’t like it or find something tastier and cheaper, you can refuse.
Sauna and fitness can be used free of charge, but please note that the sauna is shared. And if our compatriots come in swimming trunks and swimsuits, then the European natives come naked.
Well, the main joke. You can check your score on the TV screen. On the second day of our stay, we were shown that we owed 2900 oiro under the “miscellaneous” section. Went down to reception. The German at the counter poked around in the computer for a long time, then said - this is a program failure, sleep well. You will fall asleep here - every day our "debt" increased by another 2000 oiro and by the end of our stay it was already about 14 thousand. As the girl at the reception tried to explain, for some incomprehensible reason we see not our debt, but the total cost of breakfast for all hotel guests. Nice, but a little annoying.
On some forums they write that the station is a Turkish district. This is only partly true. Directly at the station there are a couple of Turkish shops with shoes (Vietnamese market quality) and kebab shops. Everything else is located in the depths of the area, where tourists have nothing to go for (shopping and tourism are in the other direction). Well, unless you rent a cheap room in the depths of the area. But even then it will not be an oriental bazaar, but quite a decent place.
