Bavaria and its capital occupy a special place in Germany. It can be noted that since 1810. Oktoberfest beer festivities, in 1919 the Bavarian Soviet Republic existed here for half a month, and it was followed by the Nazi beer putsch in 1923. Renovation work is underway in the Residence building from the side of Max-Jozeph plaz. The sound of perforators can be heard even inside. And the Collection of Egyptian Art and the Hofgarten Park on the opposite side are in complete peace. Repairs and fences make it difficult to take a picture of the Courtyard of the Residence, where at other times an unusual atmosphere of peace reigns.

Ceremonial halls and rooms for receptions. You can safely allocate three or four hours for a tour. Practical information. There is a cloakroom where you can drop off all bags/bags/outerwear (free of charge). Photography is allowed. Entrance ticket (full): - 7 euro museum - 7 euro Treasury - 11 euro combined option P. S. Locals believe that polishing the noses of lions at the Residence brings happiness.
