Hofgarten park

Hofgarten, The Court Garden
Germany, Munich
The Hofgarten park was founded in the Italian style in 1613–1617 under Duke Maximilian I. The Hofgarten is bounded by arcade galleries on both sides. The German Theater Museum is located in the northern part, and in the southern part the park adjoins the facade of the famous Munich Residence. In the center of the park stands the temple of Diana, made in the ancient Greek manner. From each of the eight arches of the pavilion, paths diverge along the Hofgarten, which determined its structure. Concerts are held in the pavilion in the evenings, and during the day, street musicians entertain visitors to the park.

City garden in Italian style. It is limited on two sides by arcade galleries. In the center of the garden is the pavilion of the goddess Diana, the roof of which is decorated with a bronze statue of the Bavarian Tellus. During the day you can listen to street musicians, and in the evening you can dance salsa or Argentine tango. A great place to walk and relax in the heart of the city! The entrance is free.
