I have long wanted to write a review about our trip, but everyone did not get around to it. There is no time, then something else. I put it off all the time. But today, in a fit of yet another nostalgia for this eastern country and in memories of a wonderful vacation, I stumbled upon this site and began to read reviews. Here are some reviews that inspired me to write this opus. I don’t know where these people were, maybe they were taken to the suburbs instead of Egypt, I don’t know where they found such nasty things from. Therefore, there will be sarcasm in the review, please note. =)
We arrived at the hotel late, around 22:00. In the lobby, we were given papers that had to be filled out for settlement. We dealt with this and within about 40 minutes from the moment we got off the bus, we were given the keys, all inclusive bracelets and, accompanied by an Arab, were sent to the room. Room in the north wing of Paradise on the 4th floor. Having given the Arab 2 pounds for carrying the suitcases, they began to look around in the room (see photo, though I did it already in the afternoon). The room is large by our standards, with a balcony. There are chairs and a table on the balcony. The room has air conditioning, a safe, TV with a dozen channels including Russian, aspic. The bathroom has a set of soaps, shampoos, a dryer, and a bath with a toilet).
Oh yes, I completely forgot. Because we arrived late, we were late for dinner, we were invited to a cafe on the 2nd floor of the hotel for a bite to eat. So we had a tasty meal there at 11 pm.

The next day in the morning we went to a restaurant on the first floor. Then someone complained that there were no seats, and so we settled there quietly at a free 4-seater table for two, no one sat down to us, due to the constant availability of tables. From which, by the way, for the care of the guests, dirty plates were immediately removed and clean ones were put up.
There was a lot of food, different) We, at the sight of such an abundance, scored too much and ate too much. Well, this feat is probably repeated by many in the first days of full boarding. Graduation comes only after a few days.
The territory of the hotel is large, from paradise to the sea to go 10-15 minutes. But you are not walking in the desert, you are walking along well-groomed sidewalks among the local vegetation, other hotels and shops. Yes, in addition to the malls near the hotel, there are shops in the center where they sell souvenirs, all kinds of perfumes, oils, hookahs. There is a small internet shop. All this is also in Paradise by the way.
Two swimming pools on the territory of the complex - the first one near the paradise, not very large, includes a paddling pool for children. The second is large, with a complex of water slides. On the slides there are always watchers who control the process of skiing. Yes, the slides are turned off during the day for an hour or two somewhere. Prevention, I don't know.
The beach is long. And if there are a lot of people opposite the paradise, then if you go to the right to the Al-mas hotel (also on the territory of the complex), then there are fewer people and, accordingly, more places. However, the beach is the same everywhere - sand and scattered coral reefs 10-15 meters from the shore. There are places to snorkel - interesting fish swim near these coral islands. Of course, diving from a yacht you will see more diverse inhabitants of the sea, but for the average tourist, beach corals will be enough.
On the beach there is a covered cafe with tables, drinks, juices, alcohol and snacks on the menu, and near al-mas, a drink stand. Also, there are similar cafes at each of the pools.

About food. Each of the hotels in the complex has a restaurant. And you can eat in any of them, no matter where you live. There are no problems with places, the only thing in Paradise can be subjectively more. But there is no fight for a place in the distribution. Everything is quiet peacefully civilized, he came up, took it, left.
Here some complained that there was a queue for drinks. Damn it, it's my turn. 3-4 people is worth it. You have to wait a couple of minutes. What horror is true? And this is taking into account the fact that my wife usually at that time went to choose dessert and fruit for herself and me. And I took drinks. And what about this queue for juices / alcohol. Tea, coffee and fruit drinks (like those that we sell in the summer from stalls) are freely available. Those who wish can buy fresh separately. We didn't drink, dear. And no one really drank in general.
Where to spend time. In paradise on the 4th floor you can sit in the billiards bar, drink local beer, cocktails. Play billiards. There is also a large TV hanging there, you can just watch music. channel. There are several cafes by the pools in the fresh air, you can sit again after sunset. Local animators put on performances in the evenings. At 21:00 every day singing fountains. There are discos, beach discos, foam parties. My wife and I visited a local hookah bar. Smoking hookah to the music, at dusk, is cool. I advise everyone. Not expensive and relaxing.
What we did wrong on the trip - we went to Hurghada on the first day for souvenirs, so as not to bother later. Don't do that, hang out, get tanned. Find everything cheaper. If you go to Luxor, on the way you will definitely be brought to souvenir shops. There is one, at the colossi of memnon. So, the prices there are not so low, but you can buy the same thing for nothing from the kids running around it and just the natives. And they will justify their prices inside the shop by the fact that they have de from solid stone and the rest are made from crumbs with glue, and they say they will fall apart in a year. Do not believe, we still stand, and are not going to fall apart. We also have several alabaster souvenirs. It didn't fall apart either. =)

Speaking of excursions. If possible, choose the Sheriff as your guide. He speaks excellent Russian. studied with us and will tell a lot of interesting things. We went with him to Luxor, it was super. He doesn’t take him to Cairo, we went with someone else and it was no longer so interesting and informative.
What are the downsides? Well, there were cons on the trip, which did not affect the overall impression in any way, but I must honestly write so that it doesn’t look like snot with sugar =)
1) On the first day there was an empty mini fridge in the room, and I had to call the reception 3-4 times to fill it. And it was filled without baksheesh, although it was already more than 11 pm. Then I found out that the jellied meat had to be filled only on the trail. day.
As a side note: We heard about tap water, which is why I insisted on filling the refrigerator, and then we went to a shop near the hotel and took local “baraka” water in 1 or 1.5 liter bottles, for next to nothing. It was enough for us to drink and brush our teeth.
2) The battery at the safe failed, it did not close. I called - they brought it, but not immediately, but after 30-40 minutes.
3) Once there was no water in the bathroom, I called and quarreled. Later appeared.
By tip. They gave a dollar a day to the cleaner. Cleaned everything properly, cleaned the carpet, changed the towels. A pitchfork made of swans towels, in general, was pleased and smiled at the meeting. And that's all. The seller in the souvenir shop tried to beg, allegedly for the assistant who wrapped the souvenirs, baksheesh. I told him to share it himself, they laughed and parted ways. All the same, I did not sell myself at a loss, obviously, it will cost.
If they offer "gifts" think thrice. Take it - 99% will start begging for baksheesh. As a result, give more than the value of the gift 2-3 times. The only thing they gave us in the papyrus shop was a pseudo-papyrus bookmark and did not ask for money.
Excursions are best taken from a guide, IMHO. Because the money saved can result in an unpleasant trip in a car without air conditioning, in cramped conditions, and generally with a guide who does not speak your language. Although of course not a fact, but we did not dare.

The result of the trip - positive impressions and memories to this day. There is a great desire to repeat, but only when the child grows up. Traveling with a small child is not a vacation. One and a half to 2 years old for 10-15 days you can leave with your grandmothers, and already at 7-10 years old you can safely take it with you.
