The only difference is that at the entrance they are not forced to take off their shoes, but everything is the same: trays for clothes and phones, belts, a gap through the frame and a tactile search. And separate corridors for men and women. 5 years ago, there was nothing like this at the Hurghada airport and it was a mess to be honest. And now it's just the most severe control from the very entrance. This is not the case at our airports. It is not clear why ours cannot open charters in any way. Apparently this is already a policy incomprehensible to us. Because of this, Russians have become many times smaller, although they come. As for the hotel, I can say the following: if you don’t expect anything supernatural from Egypt, then there will be no disappointment. Sun, sea, beach, monotonous food in abundance and a bit of a collective farm environment. Cleaned upon request ($ 1) as elsewhere with a pair of swans from towels. What is a huge plus of this hotel - these are cottage-type rooms with access to a balcony-terrace. I can't stand multi-storied, corridor buildings, which are mainly in Hurghada. The main feature of the hotel is the coral reef, for which we went there. In principle, you can not spend money on a trip on a boat to see the underwater world. All this is on the beach. We saw everything: barracudas, turtles, stingrays, hedgehogs and other colorful and diverse floating animals. Local regulars (and there are some) who come for this reef say it used to be even cooler, until a nearby hotel started building an artificial pier and as a result of the construction, chalk silt rose, which killed this reef a little, but something else left. About shopping. It makes no sense to go shopping in Hurghada itself, everything is sold at the hotel and you can bargain with sellers for everything. The main thing is to indicate your presence and in a couple of days the price will fall. It will be cheaper than in Hurghada for sure. I advise you to buy, by the way, from the locals in the hotel also because it is like one team and has a positive effect on the overall atmosphere. I recommend comrade Mohammed, who sells tea, oils, and all that, why they will take you to Hurghada for money in Nefertiti, and even they suck in some kind of crap. Souvenirs. I also recommend buying magnets and other things at the hotel. In the city, no one will definitely bargain with you and it will be more expensive. Internet at the hotel. If you really need it all the time, then don’t worry, buy a local SIM card and you will have round-the-clock access. If it’s a pity for money for a SIM card, then access is only through a router not a reception, as it fills up with the same people suffering on the Internet, the connection speed drops and it turns itself accordingly. We went for 10 days. Everything is fine, but in the end, the local, rather monotonous cuisine began to become boring. Animation is acceptable.
