Upon arrival at the hotel on November 17.2010 at 14:00, we were denied accommodation on the pretext that the rooms were not yet ready and were asked to wait indefinitely. At the same time, there was a mass settlement of Egyptian citizens in the hotel, for which, for some reason, ready-made rooms were in sufficient quantity, because. they had the opportunity to choose which room to settle in.
After several hours of indistinct excuses, we, nevertheless, were settled in one of the three-story buildings, which were located in the farthest corner of the hotel (rooms No. 4307 and No. 4311). Not only was this building far from the sea and surrounded by a lifeless rocky desert and garbage, but the "rooms" themselves were very small, dusty and disgusting. The refrigerator did not work, emitted terrible smells and was filled with some kind of sticky substance from the inside. The room lacked such elementary things as toiletries (soap, shower gel, shampoo), towels, glasses, there was also no safe and hair dryer. The air conditioner worked at maximum and at the same time there was no way to control it, except to turn it on or off. The telephone did not work, which made it very difficult to communicate with the receptionist (every time I had to run to the main building). The whole bouquet of delights was complemented by a power substation located not far from the building, continuously and loudly buzzing for days on end. The sound made it impossible to sleep in the rooms. Even closed windows did not help. Our requests to be moved to another room, even if it was of the highest class with a surcharge, were not fulfilled “due to the overcrowding of the hotel”.
Demands to at least put our rooms in order were also ignored. Only the next day, November 18, we ourselves, having met the worker cleaning our rooms, demanded to bring us soap, towels, wash and connect the refrigerator, which, by the way, would automatically turn off as soon as we left the room. All these complaints were brought to the representative of Coral Travel at the hotel, but he only offered to briefly indicate on the questionnaire: why we do not like our rooms. After our constant "duty" at the reception, on November 19, by 15-00, we were nevertheless deigned to be relocated to normal rooms, among a riot of greenery. By the way, there were mosquitoes in the rooms, so fumigators are simply irreplaceable. At the reception they promised to give mosquito sprays, but we did not wait for them, but bought an OFF aerosol in Hurghada, which did not work on these very mosquitoes, but only polluted the air in the room. Another drawback of the bungalows themselves is that at night they had to leave the exit to the terrace open so that there was an influx of fresh air into the room. And this was fraught with the fact that an outsider could look into the room, accidentally confusing the number (it was exactly like that with us : )) You could also turn on the air conditioner, but it blew towards the bed, and you didn’t want to get sick during the rest.

Subsequently, we learned that the building in which we were settled upon arrival at the hotel was intended for the hotel staff.
On the last day of our stay at the hotel, a representative from Coral Travel insistently demanded from us a receipt that we had no claims against the host and the hotel, which he was denied.
The same situation with the settlement was with those who stopped by on November 18 and 19. Those who were settled a few days earlier did not encounter this. they were put in normal rooms.
Terrible rooms at Coral start either at 5 or at 43. Also, rooms at 11 are not considered very successful (they are new, but located far away, they look at the wall of the neighboring hotel, not all are one-story, and there is also no vegetation, only bare sand ).
A situation like ours is a fairly common occurrence, even according to the guide himself. Therefore, if you like Russian roulette, go there boldly.
The corals on the beach of this hotel are the best I have seen in Hurghada. There were always enough sunbeds. There is a pier for those who like to dive immediately into the depths. The toilet on the beach is shabby and rarely cleaned. The ships that come to the beach do not really interfere. The food in this hotel is tolerable, but I stopped drinking their chemical juices on the second day. I managed with water and cola, which is better than "natural" juices : ).
Z. Y. I contacted my travel agency. So Coral Travel hung noodles on our ears that we were settled in normal rooms, a two-story bungalow. The culprit in this situation is the hotel. But the tour operator, for some reason, does not care about his customers, but follows the lead of the hotel.
Special thanks to Olya at the reception. A very sweet and pleasant girl. Despite the rather heavy workload due to the problems associated with the settlement, she was quite steadfast and always tried to help such harmful clients like us : )

Upon check-in, they give a coupon for 1 free trip to Hurghada, a coupon for 30 minutes of playing tennis, billiards. We only used the trip to Hurghada. By the way, sign up in advance, because. the bus is small and for 2-3 days in advance everything was already busy. The bus leaves the hotel at 12-30 and at 19-00.
The dining room was often crowded, as a result, the girls from the animation were standing at the entrance and they didn’t let anyone in until some of the tables were free. Napkins on tables are in short supply. We ate outside. If there were cloth towels inside the dining room, then there were never any outside. And for paper napkins he constantly arranged a safari: he either rummaged through the tables of the waiters, or simply went inside the dining room and collected them from the tables. Melons have never been edible: dry, hard, tasteless. Once there were figs and persimmons. Often gave pieces of grapefruit, peeled. And people made fresh from oranges for themselves: they collected a plate of whole oranges, cut them in half and with their hands and squeezed the juice into a glass with a fork. 5-6 pieces - and a glass of juice is ready : )
When checking out, he handed over the keys and told me to pick up the luggage left near the doors of the rooms. When there were 15 minutes left before the arrival of the bus, he again approached to remind about the luggage. It turned out that no one even thought to go anywhere. Again they asked what numbers and only after that we went for luggage.
In pursuit: immediately, as soon as we entered the room, check how the exit windows to the terrace are closed from all sides. We did not close one side, so we had to look for a master who fixed the latch for us. It is rather flimsy and after several dozen openings and closings it becomes unusable.
Since there are a lot of beautiful pictures on the Internet, I post only pictures of my room. Know the enemy by sight : )
