I do NOT recommend going outside the hotel on your own. If you left, then don’t buy anything right away, just ask the price, the next day bargain all the way - the Egyptians are not hardy, they quickly give up. Of the excursions, I highly recommend El Gouna (a 4-in-one tour), a bathyscaphe is more interesting than a submarine, a paradise island of boredom on a piece of bare desert, traveling to shopping centers too - waste your time.
