Went 2 adults and a daughter 8 years old + friends two adults. This is our first vacation in Egypt, but I chose the hotel for a very long time, as I had the conditions. 1. A good beach and a smooth entry into the sea, as with a child. 2. So that the sea does not run away anywhere (ebbs and flows). 3. Good and high quality feeding.
Now in order. We arrived at 6pm and were seated immediately. We were given room 2617 in building 2000 overlooking the grounds behind the hotel. The room is good. Friends were given a room in the 5000 building on the ground floor. They didn’t like the room right away, so they changed it the next day without any problems and surcharges, also in the 2000 building overlooking the hotel grounds. I will say right away that in fact we didn’t care about the view from the room, since we came late and immediately went to bed. More interested in comfort in the room itself. Namely: the room had a double bed and one for a child, a safe for free, a minibar for free (it contains cola, fanta, sprite, water) There is a kettle, tea, coffee. Bottled water is provided all the time. The bathroom has a hair dryer, shampoo, soap, hair conditioner, shower cap. Everything is working. On the balcony there is a built-in drying rack for clothes, a table and two wicker chairs. The only negative in the room is the built-in air conditioning system, which is very noisy. (For which I take off one star) It is impossible to sleep with it, so they cooled the room during the day and turned it off at night. With a night temperature of 25 degrees outside, it was fine in the room until the morning.
The hotel itself: the territory is large, beautiful. There is a children's pool with children's slides, for children under 10-11 years old is normal. In May, the water in this pool was heated, it was 30 degrees. For adults, the water is not heated.

Beach: The beach is large and wide. You can find sunbeds at any time. Towels were issued on cards. Entry into the sea is very good and gentle. On the left side of the beach there is a spit that appears and disappears when the tide is out. The rest of the bay is deep. About 5-6 meters from the shore and already with a head. Some write: there is no sea. What they mean is not clear. Maybe because on both sides of the beach there are long pontoons that block a little view of the open sea. Or maybe because there are no coral reefs there. Yes, you have to go to other places for reefs. In general, for those who cannot swim, for families with children who do not want to limit themselves to only pools, this is a good place. There is a bar on the beach where we often stayed for lunch. On the beach, a bucket of ice will be brought to your fungus, as well as bottled Stella beer (not very bad), bottled wine, also normal, juices, water.
Meals: There are already 6 restaurants on site. All of them are All Inclusive. The food is of a very high standard. Lots of meat and fish dishes. I read a lot of reviews that in Egypt all the food is salty and peppery, in connection with this there is nothing to feed the children. Dana doesn't have this problem. Everything is fresh and very tasty. Who is looking for seafood, shrimp, crabs, ask the restaurant manager in which restaurant they will be. Every restaurant has its own seafood day. Orange juice is served in the morning, afternoon and evening. It is a pity that there was no mango, as it is not the season. Of the fruits were bananas, dates, oranges, grapefruits, melons, strawberries, apples. All fruits are whole and cut in syrup. From alcohol, I personally drank red wine, my husband and friends took both whiskey and brandy, beer (maybe I don’t remember something else) they said everything was not very bad (compared to how we were in Turkey), of course it doesn’t reach real degrees, but yet.
Van dollars were left only to the cleaner, but no one there asks for them, we didn’t have that. Vacationers are mostly Germans, probably 60-70 percent. Opposite the hotel there are shopping boutiques, a Cleopatra store with fixed prices. We went with a child to Zhdangle aqua park, it is a five-minute drive from Dana Beach. Ordered directly at the reception for $25 for an adult and half the cost for a child. Bargain everywhere and very strongly.
