We went to Dana at the end of August, after buying a ticket the next day we learned about the introduction of tests for $ 30 and realized that we were very lucky. We flew with Anextour on a night flight. We arrived at the hotel at 5-6 in the morning, filled out questionnaires, put on bracelets and sent us to breakfast. There was an omelet, pancakes, breakfast cereals, local sweets, tea / coffee / fresh juices and regular juices.
After we tried to give $ 10 at the reception so that we would be settled faster, as a result of which the money was taken away, they said to come at 11-12 for the key. We went to the sea (a separate story about it), returning at 11, the one who took the money was already gone. We were taken to a bar which is next to the reception, they say their system is broken, write your names on a piece of paper and we will give you the keys in 15 minutes. In the meantime, the next bus arrived and a queue formed again at the reception, and the system was already working for them. And we sat for another hour and a half, many left to stand in line at the reception, no one brought the keys, we received them in turn, for a very long time, they recorded each one for 15-20 minutes.
We were brought to the room with luggage, in return they asked for $ or two chocolates. Because since 5 in the morning the suitcases have been standing in the heat of chocolates, it was funny to give them away : D It would be nice to come up with a canopy for the suitcases so that they do not melt in the heat.

According to the room - we were impressed, we got a large suite on the third floor. It looks like the money was not wasted. The room is neat, with a safe, good soundproofing, air conditioning, TV, snow-white beds, but there were cracks on the walls. Perfectionists don't watch
On the second day we had a meeting with the guide. Instead of the promised 15 minutes, it all took an hour, they tried to sell us excursions. We have already been to Cairo, so we chose a safari and Luxor, before that we asked if it was open and if it was possible without tests, because we were going to go on September 3rd. We were answered in the affirmative, they say everything is possible, they took the money, after dinner they brought a check to the room. The day before leaving for Luxor, it turned out that due to the lack of tests we were not going, the money was returned to us after 15 minutes of persuasion for other excursions. But on Safari, the divorce is still the same! A MUST READ IF YOU ARE GOING FOR THIS EXCURSION! They said that you can wear shorts, you need rafatki and sunglasses. Upon arrival at the ATV base, we were told that in shorts you can burn your legs with a motor, and sunscreens will not help from dust and wind. They say you need to take special glasses for rent and buy pants. We decided not to fall for it AND DID IT RIGHT! Yes, the motor is not warm, but not hot, yes, there is wind and dust, but the sunglasses are fine! In short, don't be fooled! And it is better to buy a rafatka near the hotel than to rent it!
Now about the hotel itself: a huge, green area that is not processed from flies, BUT there are no mosquitoes here. There are fly and mosquito sprays in the rooms but we didn't use them. Wi-Fi is available almost throughout the hotel. A boat goes to the beach for the lazy) We used it once, purely for the sake of interest)
The entry into the sea is terrible. On the left where the spit you can walk to the normal sea, in the afternoon the tide is in and you can swim, but the water is muddy. On the right are solid stones (and these are not corals, please note). The beach is always cleaned from garbage.

Whoever is in Egypt for the first time - know that here at 18:00 they are kicked out of the sea and the pools are closed. Therefore, after dinner, there is an option to go to the room, but there is an option to sit at the bar, chat, listen to music (every evening it is live here, but sometimes slow, boring), dance until 12 at night.
With regards to food - a standard buffet. We were a little tired of food for 7 days. A couple of times there were tubes of squid (for an amateur). They tried everything from the assortment, there were no poisonings. Dishes are clean but broken. Alcohol is good, not diluted. Near each pool, a waiter in a mask walks and brings everything you want.
All the days we went a little lost, in the sense that no one gave a lunch schedule, at the reception they told us to go to the guide (although they had booklets, they gave them out randomly in general, and we just wanted to take a picture), and the guide quickly muttered and we only roughly understood what time and where what meal.
In general, the hotel is good for the price that we took, but the second time we will not go here because of the sea. Still, you don’t want to walk on stones and swim in muddy water.
