I rested with my husband and a two-year-old child from 04/29/12 to 05/09/12. The hotel was chosen for a long time based on reviews and ratings, only Hurghada was considered. They flew to Egypt for the first time, before that they rested in Turkey and Tunisia, they did not have any special illusions about the country, but nevertheless they were disappointed.
1. Accommodation. We arrived at the hotel at 19:30, at the reception we were offered to go to dinner while the room was prepared for us. Knowing about the difficulties with resettlement, we immediately invested 100 USD in the passport. and asked for a nice room in building 2000 overlooking the pool. After dinner, we were given the keys to the ill-fated 1111, promising to change to an excellent large room tomorrow at lunchtime, the hotel is overloaded and there is nothing else. After long discussions, we nevertheless agreed, because. didn't know it was that bad. Small, gloomy, miserable, without a balcony, overlooking the corridor, in front of the windows people always go to their rooms. I no longer had the strength to swear, I just wanted to relax, especially since I just needed to spend the night. Although our friend on the same evening settled in a two-room family for 260 USD. a complete rip-off. As a result, the next day at lunch we were given the keys to the room in building 2000 on the 1st floor, we insisted on 2, an hour later we were finally given the keys to room 2910 on the 2nd floor with a beautiful view of the river. Moving again, as a result, another half a day is lost.
2 The room is small with two beds, the furniture is old, but the mattresses are good, there is a small plasma on the wall, the mini-bar cools well, you can store food, baby milk. There were problems with the safe, it opened with 5-10 attempts. The bathroom is small with the notorious hole in the floor instead of a shower. The balcony is good, it was nice to sit at dawn, I was pleased with the presence of a clothes dryer. In general, it doesn’t pull 5 stars, somewhere around 3. Cleaning every day, regardless of the tip, is equally bad. Beach towels are a separate song, scary, of an indefinite color, in puffs and stained. and they change them during cleaning in the room, when everyone is on the beach - where is the logic?

3. Territory. This is what I liked the most: a huge, green, well-groomed, lazy river with fish, many flowers, beauty, we lived at the end of 2000, so it was a bit far to walk to the main building, but closer to the sea. Walking was not annoying, we took a stroller with us, so it’s even useful. The water in the pools was warm, the child could not be pulled out. But on May 5 or 6, the heating was turned off, even in the children's room with a water park, it became quite cool even for adults. The children's playground pleased with the swings - there are a lot of them, but there is only one slide, and an incomprehensible structure such as a climbing frame for older children, but it was not successful with them either. more swings near the beach and kids club. There are almost no toys in the club itself, you can only be creative and watch cartoons, not for two-year-olds.
4 Nutrition. We never got poisoned, cheers, half of the first-aid kit consisted of medicines for food poisoning - it was not useful. Having read horrors about food in Egyptian hotels, I was preparing for the worst. Free fresh juice in the morning, rubber pancakes, standard scrambled eggs like everywhere else, delicious fruit salad, delicious fish for dinner, fried squid, there were shrimp several times. Meat - chicken either fried or stewed in sauce, grilled, beef in several variations, national dishes did not cause appetite. Lots of spices, spicy food. For lunch and dinner, two vmda soups, even for children, cream soups are delicious. There is always hot milk, you can dilute porridge or just add rice and fruit - dinner is ready for the child. there is a diet table with boiled chicken, rice, steamed vegetables, so there is something for the kids to cook. Of the pastries, I liked only puffs, good pastries in a cafe - it differs from a restaurant one, there is a cheesecake and tiramisu, by the way, they make delicious caramel cappuccino there. there are few fruits: the main ones are oranges, bananas, apples. A couple of times there were watermelons, then melon, small peaches or dates. My husband liked the bottled beer. One evening they gave champagne.
5. Animation for children in the evening, no, a small scene, crush. Every day, a few hackneyed songs, the favorite phrase of the animator in broken Russian "handles for hands - Russian for Russian" just irritated. Cartoons are played before animation. The evening show was at a good level, I especially liked the dancing.
6. The sea was disappointing, it was cool and there were a lot of jellyfish, of course they swam, but you can’t call the sea gentle, besides, the water in the lagoon is muddy. But at low tide you can walk along the spit, there opens an island with the purest sand and the water is just turquoise, you can take a good photo. In general, the beach has sand with small pebbles, a little unpleasant at first, but not comparable to the beach in Tunisia, where the sand is white and soft. The entrance to the sea is good, special shoes are not needed.

7. Service. We are not particularly picky, we can bring juice ourselves, but there were waiters who clearly ignored, they always took a high chair for the child themselves, they didn’t understand requests like bringing a deep plate for the child in either Russian or English, but “How are you? ” all the staff repeats to you a hundred times a day, and as the request touches, then how lucky. But the Germans take beds in the morning.
The contingent is mostly German pensioners, families with children, everything is quiet and calm. In general, the hotel is not bad, families with small children of preschool age can safely go, the elders will be bored, but I don’t want to go back there anymore. In general, the Arabs spoil the whole idea of the country with their behavior, they tried to separate us and the taxi drivers, and even at the airport a security guard came up after we checked in our luggage and left, and asked, looking around, to pay extra for the luggage, they say we went over 5 kg at 10 dollars for each. And I don’t want to remember about street vendors.
