I rested in Aladdin at the end of April 2010. I must say right away - a great vacation! I was like in an oriental fairy tale! I read reviews where "everything is terrible and disgusting" - as if it was written about another hotel! Either Aladdin has corrected himself, or people are simply making an elephant out of a fly. Excellent work Tez-Tour - everything is clear, the buses come to the minute, the guides at the hotel are always there at the appointed time, they will explain everything in Russian. I chose the hotel based on reviews on the Internet and did not regret for a minute that I chose Aladdin. It’s good that there are almost 3 hotels in one, the territory is huge, and you can’t go around all the corners until the end of your vacation, you can also eat in several restaurants, so you don’t get bored. The whole territory is buried in greenery and flowers, the trees are constantly cut beautifully, every extra blade of grass is pulled out by hand. Many bungalows are covered with very beautiful climbing flowers.
The sea is a 3-minute walk from the restaurant. Check-in from 2 p. m. the rooms have not been cleaned yet. But what a trouble - they put the suitcases under storage and walked for 2 hours, admired and took pictures. Compared to the unfortunate Ukrainians and Europeans, who could not fly away because of the volcano and roamed around the hotel, we were lucky. I asked for a room in the main building and got it - I have a single, I lived alone in a beautiful double room. Huge double bed, good furniture, everything is new, freshly renovated, a huge sliding window-door. Soft, caressing bedding, good pillows (I always suffer in hotels and rest homes from dead pillows - and here there were a lot of them), very thick curtains (I can’t stand it when sunlight wakes up at 5 in the morning) - and here at night it’s dark and silence. No insects (once, however, one mosquito flew in, but after turning on the fumitox, he immediately died - apparently, they were not used to it here). Big TV, 3 Russian programs.
About nutrition should be written separately. I don't understand how anyone could be unhappy? A huge selection of dishes (especially for dinner and lunch), spicy dishes are few (I don’t eat spicy, but here it was good for me) - (last year after eating in a cafe in Gelendzhik I had a stomachache all week, although there were no problems before - and then the stomach was peacefully silent all the rest - or admired). Everything is very tasty, and what pleased me most of all - VERY BEAUTIFUL! Dishes are decorated with love, real ikebanas are made from vegetables - carvings on pumpkins, watermelons, some kind of fish and vegetable rolls are multi-layered, decorated with whipped cream....

Desserts are another story. 15 types of desserts for dinner, all very beautifully decorated. Mousses, jelly, puddings prevail (which I love, besides, they are less high-calorie).
In general, I wanted to try everything. Probably, for the first time on vacation between breakfast and dinner, I didn’t want to go and buy something else tasty - I just didn’t fit. Then I went to Ali Baba's restaurant - although the hotel seems to be a higher class, but the food there is not so varied and worse decorated (it is clear that an amateur decorated it) - but in Jasmine it is even better than in Aladdin. We didn't have to wait long for drinks. The queue to the restaurant was only once, and passed in 5 minutes.
In general, it is better to choose “your” waiter and immediately ask him where to sit at the entrance - he will seat you and set the table. , will bring coffee and drinks (3 times for the term gave him 1 dollar. )
The sea, when we arrived, was clean, gentle, blue, the sand was fine, it was nice to go into the sea. After 3 days, a strong wind arose and for several days the sea was muddy, dirty, so if they arrived at that time, they would spit on "this Red Sea. " Then suddenly the tide came and it became very shallow. But that was only a few days. The beach is really better at Jasmine - everything is there - sand at the entrance, a living coral reef at a depth (very beautiful - colorful corals, a bunch of beautiful fish - especially if you throw 2-3 bread crumbs (which is forbidden, however) - flies from only fish! And where do they come from? ) With a mask, you can hang out there for hours, it's a pity that there was no underwater camera. But with children, the beach of Ali Baba is better, it is shallow there, and there are also small reefs and fish at a knee-deep depth. There were no big problems with sunbeds, I didn’t take it in advance.

I went on excursions - part of TezTour (Paradise Island) - they give “1001 nights” as a bonus for a sea excursion for free. This night is amazing! They are being taken to the Alf-Leila-We-Leila hotel, just where I wanted to go, because I saw a photo - this is an oriental fairy-tale palace - but there were no vouchers, and then I saw it at night, fabulously lit - beauty! The show there was also very impressive. Thanks to TezTour also for a free tour to the Titanic-AquaPark hotel (opposite Aladdin) - I also thought to go there, but here the whole day of the water park is free! I took tours to Luxor and Cairo from another local company (cheaper than the tour operator - but somewhat more stressful. ) The trip to Cairo is still very tiring by bus - 7 hours, legs swell... Better to fly by plane (150 $ +). But the Pyramids, the ancient temples, the huge Cairo Museum of Antiquities are very impressive.
It is better to go to Luxor first - impressions should go on increasing...
In Cairo and Luxor, local merchants are very intrusive, they just don’t let you pass. Near the pyramids, figurines of ca. 50 cm for 1 dollar, although they asked for 5 more. Of course, these are plaster castings, and not hewn from stone, but for 30 rubles, and bought near the pyramids, if you are not too lazy to drag, you can take =)
It’s better to buy everything in Hurghada, it’s cheaper there (everyone goes by minibuses or taxis to the McDonald’s area (there is also the Karkusha store - cotton, cotton products are really wonderful there), and all the shops. Bargain, they are inferior by 2 times. Russian can be easily explained.
In general, I am very satisfied - "I was done beautifully" =)!
Here's why people are unhappy. For example, we flew to Samara, the bus from the plane brings to the airport, but the back door does not open. Behind immediately heard screams, "Horror! " "What a nightmare! " (is this how to react to a 1 minute exit delay? )
One friend of about 60 years old, living in Ali Baba, kept snorting at the food - “disgusting, disgusting” (what is disgusting there? Does she have a French personal chef with a diploma at home? )
She was indignant - they deceived, they said - the Red Sea, fish, corals - but not here! And she was hanging out on the beach of Ali Baba, where knee-deep, if only she would ask people where there are reefs, or would look where the tubes stick out of the water.
We were also lucky with the weather, it was not very hot, even the air conditioner rarely turned on.
From the negative, it’s a little annoying that sometimes (not always) they extort tips (for example, the safe at the reception is free, but when you check it out and at the end of the term, you will be asked for a “gift” - $ 1 (although not in your pocket, but put in a box with a slot at the reception) Porters also ask for baksheesh (but not always) (well, that's normal).

You can’t iron the thing itself - you have to take it to the laundry, and this is not always convenient (because I’m on excursions until the night - and when do I get things? ), so it’s better to take a wrinkle-resistant iron or take a travel iron.
Once I saw how a worker walked past a playground with an insect staining machine, smoked and did not even think to warn the children and parents to leave. (however, the smoke dissipated quickly). (however, I remember how we weeded plantations in the construction team, and the corn-grower sprayed us with some kind of muck from above).
In general, as people who rested in 5 * in Turkey, Greece, Thailand told me, there is nothing to complain about =) How many days to take? If you are planning excursions to Luxor and Cairo (antiquities), then 10, if not, then 7 days is enough to see everything and not get bored.
