Badly. Terrible hotel guide. The hotel turned out to be 3 stars, not 4

I do not recommend this hotel for the following reasons:

1. This is 3 stars, not 4. Not offhand, but in fact, there is a “3” in the lobby. To the question: everywhere there is 4 simple answer “yes, they were tied up there for something, is it important? » In the process of living, you understand what is very important.

2. Number. Despite the purchased room “in the building” and the 10 dollars given to the administrator upon check-in (since he clearly immediately warned “there are rooms worse, there are better” and gladly accepted the money), they settled at exactly 14 (arrived at the hotel at 10) in one from the oldest bungalow rooms overlooking the neighboring windows. Bungalows are the oldest buildings in the hotel. The rooms are old, the layout is lame (the door of the SU rests on the toilet, the shower head is screwed at a height of 2.2m without a hose - it is not possible in principle to wash the child, the windows cannot be opened, the air conditioner is so noisy that it is not possible to sleep)

3. Hotel guide. The most disgusting thing: guide Hossam (JoinUp, SunInternational) is a scary person!
After selling excursions that cost twice as much as standard, he was very angry when he learned that our 73-year-old grandmother with sore legs had arrived “just to sunbathe” and did not plan to visit them. Persistently persuaded her to buy at least something. As a result, she agreed to a free survey of Hurghada (such as included in our tour as a gift from the tour operator). When they said that none of his suggestions for excursions suited us, he simply threw our documents (vouchers), shouting that then we were not interested in him and he would not issue us. And what is natural, he will not give us any free excursions included in the tour either, because it is “he decides”, he was indignant and did not hide his hysteria. As a result, he also “forgot” to organize our transfer to the airport.

4. Taking into account point 3, excursions were ordered via the Internet (twice as cheap as from the guide) and were satisfied with them.

5. Food.
The main meals in the main restaurant are always crowds, everything is available only at the time of opening, only the waiters deliver drinks (you have to wait a long time and once again they don’t really carry it) + the manager (they are in pink shirts) literally kicked people out of the tables a couple of times, taking their food right out from under their noses, waving their arms like "it's time to make room for others. "

We didn’t manage to taste anything tasty for the entire period (except, perhaps, sweets).

The restaurant on the beach only lunch with a permanent menu of "McDonald's".

2 Italian and Mongolian restaurants - by appointment - you can visit 1 time for a change (the food is different).

For children: In the children's corner, air conditioners are strongly turned on, throughout the rest on TV in this area the same cartoon without sound and the standard 3 barrels of food: potatoes, pasta, meatballs. Ice cream in line at lunch 30-50 grams. Children's "cocktails" are constantly offered around the hall for $2.50.

6. Sea.
We chose the hotel solely because of the beach and the sea for the child. Frankly speaking, so-so ...The hotel's beach in the sea is rocky, only the first half a meter of sand, 2 paths in the sea, 1m wide, are also “cleared” from stones. On the beach of the neighboring "Jasmine" there is sand, but the waves are such that the child cannot go far.

7. For children. Almost nothing. Children's disco at 20:30, cages with monkeys in the nearby "Jasmine", a playground in a decadent state (I would even describe some of the details as dangerous). In addition, in the center of the hotel there is a group of broken slot machines (cars, children's billiards, etc. ). None of them work, BUT: the token vending machine works! It burns invitingly in the evenings, compassionate parents, wanting to please their children, throw coins there, but nothing in return. Money is being collected, but not a single child has used the services.

8. Staff (cleaners, waiters) are trying, smiling.
At the reception, they understand only when it is convenient for them, moreover, both in Russian and in English, they just look at you and that's it.

9. Nearby: SenzaMall. It's better to take a taxi for $2 one way (no more! ) In the hypermarket, payment is only in local currency. There you can buy shrimp (up to $10/kg and fry them on the spot). Please note that roasting is already included in the check at the checkout, while the roasting merchant requires 1 USD / kg to be paid personally to him.

In general, already on the 5th day of such a “rest”, I really wanted to go home.
