Good afternoon, to everyone who is going to rest or has already rested in Egypt in this hotel! I would like to encourage people to leave their reviews, because, indeed, they help in many ways in choosing a hotel or in preparing for a trip!
Here I will try to describe my impressions of my stay in this hotel as much as possible.
Rested for 12 days with my mother. From my personal experience (about 10 times I vacationed in foreign resorts), I advise tourists to take a ticket, if possible, for at least 10 days, because with a ticket for 7 days - the 1st and last day fall out due to arrival and departure, clean - 5 days is not enough for a complete rest. In my opinion, 12-14 days is optimal.
The complex consists of 3 hotels: Sunrise Le Jardin - line 1, Festival Reviera Resort - line 1, Festival Reviera Resort Club - line 2 (located across the road, which is not particularly disturbing, but a little inconvenient).

I stayed at the Reviera Festival Resort Club. I will say this, if you are not particularly proud, then the club will suit you, because it is cheaper than the Riviera Resort Festival and Sunrise Le Jardin, and this money can be usefully spent in Egypt, but for me personally, it was somehow a little uncomfortable to myself that I do not live in the main buildings, I was beaten by pride, my mother did not at all.
ABOUT CLUB ROOMS: standard, no frills. On the positive side: there is a hair dryer in the room (it’s weak in power. If the hair is long, thick, it’s hard to dry), there is no iron (but at the first request they give it at the reception, I didn’t return it, I had the whole shift in the room), there is a good electronic safe (as they teach you how to use it locally, contact the reception), the air conditioners are in good condition, the control is on the wall (I was not tense, although many did not like it), it makes a little noise, it was not very convenient that there was no main light in the rooms - only lamps from different sides, sometimes in the evening it was hard to paint. Russian channels - like a Ukrainian, I would like Ukrainian TV, but this is not so important. What is remarkable about the rooms of the Club type - all with balconies and all overlook the pool, so if you have a club type, I see no reason to pay extra at the reception: because as I wrote, there are no balconies to go to the construction site or to any trash cans , unlike Sunrise and the main Festival, where there are numbers both on the road, and on the side of the utility block, and at the construction site. We lived on the 4th floor - there is an elevator. Rooms on the 1st floor with direct access to the pool (in my opinion, not really, you can see everything). It is impossible to walk naked or lie down without closed curtains, since the balconies are located close to each other, the building is built with the letter P, and everything is clearly visible on any floor. There is a full-length mirror in the room, there are hangers, shelves, enough space, spacious. The shower is strange - a cubicle enclosed by a rag curtain - the water changes in the shower itself : ), sometimes hot, sometimes colder. Cleaning, as it seemed to me, does not depend on the tip, I didn’t leave a tip - they cleaned it normally, left it, cleaned it the same way. Throw towels on the floor - this is a sign that you need to change. There is 1 small towel, 1 large bath towel. There are no slippers. There is liquid soap, toilet paper, some strange sanitary bag; ). In the mini-fridge daily, 1 0.5 l bottle of water per person.
FOOD: not bad, but there are better in other hotels. What is rare for us, a lot of Feta cheese, and in general a lot of types of cheeses, hot pancakes, omelettes, many types of yogurt, dry breakfasts, a lot of pastries, but the same type - poured pies - not super tasty, but decorated chic and differently, croissants , puffs are different, in the evening delicious chocolate pudding. There is always fish, beef, chicken. There is no pork. They gave me squids. All sorts of side dishes: rice, pasta, potatoes in different forms. In general, who is a normal person, and not Bill Gates, with the corresponding requests and income, will not be offended. Do not count on borscht, dumplings, etc. There are not so many fruits - white apples, bananas, oranges, pieces of grapefruit, dates, melon in the evenings, there was a watermelon, but it was delivered exclusively to the most hungry, who had dinner exactly at 19.00 and 10 plates of watermelon were collected, so it quickly ended. However, comrades, let's be objective and understand, well, there can't be strawberries, and peaches, and watermelons, and apples, and bananas, and so on. and all at the same time, in Egypt, as well as throughout the world, for some fruits the season, for some not. At first glance, there are few vegetables, but only at first, since the vegetables are simply chopped, and you can make a salad to your taste, especially since there are a lot of sauces. From vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, red, green, yellow peppers, iceberg lettuce, lettuce, carrots, white blue cabbage - chopped, olives, black olives, white radish, pumpkin, eggplant. Soups in the form of mashed potatoes, decent soup on Saturdays for dinner - from seafood. There is no ice cream : (, although many 4 have it.
ENTERTAINMENT: since I was with my mother, this item was very important to me (24 years old). I will say that in general it’s not bad. In the morning at 10.30. on the beach - exercises, sometimes yoga, very good. Girls are willing to do it. At 11 - belly dance, unprofessional, but very funny. Next, water aerobics. For men, volleyball on the beach, water polo in the pool. After lunch, water aerobics again in the pool. There is also some entertainment near the pools in the Sunrise Jardin pool. Every evening - an animation show - of course, who danced professionally or was in well-known hotel chains, where the show is on a serious level - sometimes the programs are funny and primitive - amateur performances performed by animators, or absolutely unprofessional dances of local groups. There were also good shows - Mr. Sunraz, Miss Sunrise, a dance competition, Brazilian dances, a comedy show. in general, these shows helped "mothers with daughters : )" pass the time. There is a children's disco - and in general the hotel is very suitable for children, there is a children's animator, disco, a shallow sea, a children's menu. The hotel is far from Sakala (the new center of Hurghada), so if someone is not the first time in Hurghada and expects to go to Hurghada - don't count too much - it's inconvenient, I planned it myself, but it's not worth it, firstly, only by taxi, the bus with the locals only goes to the Old City, from there you need to change to another minibus to Sakala, and secondly, it takes about 20 minutes to go -25. On a minibus, 5 pounds for two is enough, by taxi they got to the city for 3-4 dollars per car, back 5, thirdly, the hotel has a fairly good disco - the beat club, the music is very decent, at least for Europeans and Russians I liked it the same way, there are no Russian songs, you can ask the DJ - he will put it on - I am a wave, a new wave and Moscow never slip : ). There are people at the disco, even a lot. Open until 2.00-2.30, from 23.00 to 24.00 drinks at the disco are free. And in general, advice for young girls - take pretty dresses, skirts, blouses, cosmetic bags, accessories - there is someone to dress up in front of. Personally, I was aimed at the European community, I was not interested in Russian and Arab representatives at all, and my interest was completely satisfied. There are a lot of guys, handsome, cultured, free: Germans, Poles, Swedes, and Russians - everyone, they get to know each other willingly. It’s not the first time I’m going on vacation with my mother, but I always got to know each other locally and we were friends with large international companies throughout the shift. So this time: 3 Germans, 2 Swedes, 4 Russians, 2 Ukrainians, 2 Russian girls - had a great time. Someone even suits their fate, so if there is a goal to find a European guy, here it is possible to realize it 100%. Europeans love, appreciate and treat Ukrainian women very well. On Tuesdays, the hotel hosts a beach party - entrance $ 12 or 10 euros, not a fountain: a fakir show, an African show - weak, then a disco, but since there is no free disco on this day, young people have nothing to do, gritting their teeth, spreading money.

SEA: I will say this, when I was driving, well, I just couldn’t understand what was there with the sea, now in detail: the beach area is very large, the sea looks like open. There are no yachts, there are no hotels nearby, a little further Panorama of the bungalow, but far away, there are no local beaches in the neighborhood, so there are no local ones, why am I writing this, because I rested in Hurghada, where on the one hand there was another hotel, on the other hand public beach, + yachts moored to everything - this is the sea for you. It's not like that here. Yes, the sea is shallow at first, not yet cleared of coral remnants. It’s not true about the steps - they are not slippery at all - slippery only in the place where it is forbidden to go into the sea, but some especially smart tourists do not look at the prohibition sign, where the entrance is allowed, the steps are normal. The water near the shore is cloudy, especially at 2nd half of the day, I could not swim, but I put on fins, a mask, took a bag of bread from the dining room and swam to the so-called "paradise island": there the water is clear, the sand is soft, and there is a beautiful reef for snorkeling, I always swam there, it’s difficult to swim there without fins, especially when there are waves, but it’s worth it, don’t swim in this dirty water near the shore, you won’t really understand what the Red Sea is, or come early in the morning, the sea is then clear. You need to borrow sunbeds by the sea and the pool early, we came at 7 in the morning, we never lay in front, once we came at 6 - everything was free. There is a shower on the beach, and many baths where you can wash your feet. There is a pool with a bar on the beach.
TERRITORY: large, but not huge, for some reason when I read the reviews, I thought much more - you can’t compare with the Golden Five network or Albatross - much less. The interior of Sunrise Le Jardin and Festival Riviera Resort are almost the same. The first days I could not understand where I was in Sunrise or in the Festival, because both there and there - an open bar, stairs down, again a bar, a pool with bridges and a road to the beach.
Oh, there is a lot of information, it’s impossible to describe everything, from what else I remember: there are services of professional photographers on the territory of the hotels, they work with you for an hour, they tell you how to become, how to smile, what to wear, then you can choose the number photos you want. 1 photo - 3 dollars, but with a wholesale purchase of 20 photos, they make 2 dollars each, they can even be cheaper, but the photos are really not bad, I’ll add to the review, you can evaluate the work. There are mini-quads for money, a camel also rides for money. For kite surfers and windsurfers - a fertile place, there is where to filth, good wind, there is a school that teaches.
Finally, I will say that the hotel is completely on its own money (we paid $ 1.100 for 2 people for 12 days). It's not a solid 5*, but sorry, 5* stars and can't be worth that little. Of all 5, it is the cheapest, so if you rested in the Hilton, Mariot, Rixos, etc. hotels, you will definitely not like it. But even the Europeans were very happy with everything.
