When we were finally settled, we saw old rooms, water was flowing from the ceiling, mold in the bathroom, broken old plumbing, dirty towels and beds, which had not been changed even once for 8 days... Beach towels also had to be dirty every day to carry with you in your bag, as there is no system for exchanging them for cards in this hotel either. The food is the same every day, there is no variety on the days as in other hotels (a day of Italian, French, Egyptian... cuisine). Seafood, of course, was also not at all. There was one restaurant where you had to stand in line until a table was free to eat and the same line for clean plates to get food. Napkins, toothpicks, salt, pepper, sugar - also not, even at the request of this was not given.
The entire staff is dirty, no one knows anything and decides nothing. It makes no sense to call the reception at all - they simply don’t pick up the phone and, of course, they won’t provide help either. Personal appeal to them was also not very effective. We have been to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh many times, we love Sharm very much. We chose this hotel because of the favorable price. Do not pay dearly for it, it is budget. We have been to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh many times, we love Sharm very much. We chose this hotel because of the favorable price. Do not pay dearly for it, it is budget. When the tours were booked, the documents contained the name of the hotel Hawaii Riviera Resort Aqua Park 5*. In the voucher we saw the real name Hawaii Riviera Resort & Aqua Park (Ex. Festival Riviera Resort) already WITHOUT FIVE STARS. Guests of our hotel are allowed to use the territory of the neighboring hotel Hawaii Le Jardin Aqua Park. We rested together with my husband from October 23 to November 3.2021, the sea is warm, the weather is comfortable 28-31 degrees. We flew direct Egyptian airlines EgyptAir from Moscow to Hurghada and back - everything is super, I highly advise. Transfer to the hotel for an hour and a half with all arrivals at other hotels. We arrived at about 9 am, at the reception we were met by an unfriendly young man with a stone face, did not speak Russian. We were afraid that they would settle us who knows when and in some ass. But after 15 min. he gave a card from our room, but did not put on the bracelets, because. on the day of arrival, they are fed only from lunch. Breakfast is over and the bracelets are in our hands.
If you need a renovated room with new furniture, then this hotel is not for you. Room 1332 on the third floor, we were satisfied with a giant balcony overlooking the pools and the sea, which overlooked the balcony doors of sixteen rooms. We left the room at 7:00 and returned before dinner to wash and spend the night. Everything is convenient! Under our room on the second floor there is a dining room, on the first floor there is a reception, there are two elevators. The room has air conditioning, TV (4 Russian channels), refrigerator, kettle with mugs, bags of coffee, tea, sugar. A powerful hair dryer (do not take it from home), liquid soap in one dispenser by the sink and in the second dispenser 2in1 gel / shampoo in the shower, the shower cleaner did not remove the sand from the floor even once in 12 days.
Wi-Fi:
Wi-Fi seems to be, but it is NOT! During our stay, the hotel was full, it was impossible to even connect to Wi-Fi, let alone use it. From the hotel to the right, a three-minute walk away, there is a “Shopping Center”, buy a SIM card, just be sure to let it be connected to you, and use it with pleasure.

In room: 2 small bottles of water are provided daily in each room (free of charge). If you don't have enough, you can fill it in the dining room.

If you are a cheese lover then this hotel is not for you. There is only soft salted cottage cheese and that's it. The first time is that there is no cheese and not even tasty sausage, just not. For breakfast, meat only non-edible sausages. But eggplant, zucchini and peppers fried in oil are given every day. All cooks are friendly and kind, except for two who prepare scrambled eggs and pancakes, they scoff at vacationers and it gives them pleasure. They don't want to cook until the queue is full, the crowd stands and waits patiently while they fry, and then they put a little bit for everyone, as if they are preparing personal products. The cook has vegetables, sausage and cheese cut in bowls for scrambled eggs, but in 12 days he has never offered to add them to us in scrambled eggs. The locals have always made scrambled eggs in special forms and added whatever they want, it is not very pleasant. Everything else is given at breakfast, as usual in Egypt.
Lunches and dinners are excellent, there is everything! There are always two soups. All sorts of meat, lots of it. Pizza is delicious out of the oven. Lots of fruits. At 20:00, THIS DAY, fresh, gorgeous mango is cut into a plate. From the beginning of dinner (from 18:30) to 20:00, the mango is covered with a blanket and by 20:00 a huge queue is built. But when suddenly, before 20:00, a check comes to the kitchen, the coverlet is opened and they begin to cut it. This is how they hide mangoes from vacationers, they even covered grapes twice in 12 days of vacation. About the bad behavior of vacationing local residents in the dining room they write the truth in the reviews. Very noisy, talking loudly, yelling, turning on Arabic music, once they even saw how they danced on the table in the dining room. There are no people keeping order in the dining room.
Drinks are served in 150 ml cups:
Water. Artificial orange and pineapple juice. Sevenap carbonated water and Pepsi bottled delicious. Nestcafe coffee, tea bags. Strong alcohol is all tasteless, as if diluted, but in the morning the head does not hurt. Because of the tasteless strong alcohol, the cocktails are terrible. The wine is delicious. The beer is tasty, but almost always warm, poured into disgraceful disposable glasses of 150 ml, which are only suitable for strong drinks and then half a glass. But we always take thermal mugs with us on vacation.
Pools:
We enjoyed using the territory of two hotels. I counted 12 pools of different depths, all are cool and clean, they are heated in winter. There are enough sun loungers, no need to borrow.
Aquapark:
Excellent, 12 adult slides and 6 for children. Works from 10 to 12; from 15 to 17, there are no big queues. Children's slides from 9 to 17.
Beach:
Sand 300 meters, enough space for everyone. Wooden sun loungers are old, half broken, but you can choose. Mattresses stained, not washed, torn. Beach towels are issued and changed in the room. Umbrellas are good with a wicker roof, under which you can sunbathe from 10 to 14:30, while the sun is strong. Tables under umbrellas are good, but no one washes them, they are always dirty. Vacationing locals gather on the beach singing, dancing, yelling, talking loudly. But the beach is huge, we go further.
Sea:
You can't go without shoes! Small for children just, at low tide knee-deep to high ass. The pontoon is about 75 meters, you can swim from the pontoon at low tide up to your chest at high tide with your head, but it is difficult for people of age to climb it. There is no order on the pontoon, the resting locals hang on it, gather on the pontoon and in the sea in a huge crowd and make a lot of noise, they throw shoes all over the pontoon, you can’t get through and no one is watching. Not enough security.
Toilets: At the beach and pools, the floors are always wet with sand, they are rarely washed. THERE IS ALWAYS NO PAPER. Carry with you. There are no such problems with cleaning and toilet paper in the toilets by the pool with snacks and in the main building.

The same applies to the pool bar, but in principle, showing a good attitude towards them, you will also be treated well.
The hotel area is clean, there is something to see, a lot of pools, the beach is also clean but the sea is very shallow, rather for children, but we were also ready for this, so there are no complaints here.
Well, now about the "pleasant", 99% Arabs, constant noise and din, it is advisable to look under your feet so as not to accidentally step on their children, because they can lie on the floor, run without looking in front of them. Both in the dining room and in all other establishments, they climb out of line, impudently intermeddle in front of you, so if you want to have time somewhere, stock up on impudence.
The most unpleasant thing I saw was floating snot in the pools, not spitting, but snot, a couple of times I personally watched them sitting on the bar spitting in the input, rinsing their mouths and spitting the whole thing into the pool. But the cutest thing I've seen is how parents, swimming near the side, hold the child while he pisses in the pool, after which he was calmly dipped into the water, washed, so to speak, and released back home to play on.
Also, given that our tourists are now a little ready to become local stars for a photo, first one comes up, and a minute later a line of people is already lining up. Every day with the same ones, to be honest, after a couple of days it starts to strain.
Well, at the end of the dining room, they feed, in principle, not bad, but the local food starts to bother already on the third day.
