When we left the airport, we were assigned to buses. When loading things, the driver asked us $ 1 for loading the suitcase. I read about this, and that it is not at all necessary, therefore, despite his formidable indignation, we did not give him money. Upon arrival at the hotel (it was at 10-00), we were informed that check-in to the rooms is at 14-00, and service bracelets will be given to us at 12-00. Everything was so. We got bracelets, went out for lunch. At 14:00 we went to the reception desk, we were held back for a very long time. The fact is that we had club rooms, i. e. in the building across the street. Judging by the reviews I read, there should have been cockroaches, bedbugs and even mice on the first floor. . . When we were offered a room on the 1st floor. I began to beg to be given another number, and even better - in the main building, and not across the street. To which I received an answer that I need an additional payment of $ 15 per day! We had a vacation for 15 nights and for extra. We didn't expect $225 per room : ) So I just asked for a room in the building across the street, but not on the first floor. The administrator for a very long time and diligently went through the papers, answered all conceivable and unimaginable calls and requests from other people, diligently not noticing us standing at the counter and waiting for our number. We were already running out of patience and as a reward we were finally given the coveted key: a room on the fifth floor! no extra charge! We happily ran to inspect our apartments, what was our surprise that we got a two-room suite! Clean, spacious, overlooking the courtyard of the hotel and the road, and even the sea was visible! I immediately checked for insects. People, having lived in the hotel for 15 days, I did not see myself and did not hear from anyone about a single cockroach or bug, I saw mosquitoes, but they were somehow not biting and lived mainly in the bathroom. The room was cleaned for us every day (we hung a yellow sign on the door handle that we needed cleaning), the bed was also made every day. We always threw towels on the floor - so they were also changed daily. It was true a couple of times that we came, but there were no towels at all. Then we called the reception and they brought them to us right there. After the second such incident, I very emotionally expressed my displeasure at such forgetfulness of the janitor that these cases ceased. We left him $1 tips a couple of times, so he made us swans and a crocodile out of towels on the bed. So the number was ok. As for the service and staff: I liked everything. Everyone was polite, they brought water to the room on demand, in the dining room no one pulled out the plates from their hands, as some people write, so the Arabs in the hotel instilled themselves decently and did not strain. But with the sea - an ambush. . . It's just not there. And even living in a building across the street did not bother us at all, not at all. On the contrary, it was even good there, because it was quiet and calm. But the sea is not there, it is gone. . . There is no pier, if you want to swim, then you really have to go through cold water, as if on dry land, very, very far. There is a pier in the neighboring hotel, but we were not allowed to go there. Therefore, I only took a dip once, when once in two weeks there was a high tide and the depth of the sea near the shore reached up to my waist. I even looked at the jellyfish, they are so lilac-pink, and they don’t sting. I held them in my hand. There are no corals or fish. It was the only swim during our entire stay at the hotel. But, due to the fact that it was winter, the wind was blowing, and the water was very good. cold, we survived it calmly. The sun was shining, warming, and if you sit behind the wind, it is quite possible to sunbathe. We swam in a heated pool, fortunately there are two of them: in the riviera and in le jardin. The hotel area is large and very green, beautiful. The Oscar camel walks around the territory, if you wish, you can stroke it and ride it. Sunbeds should be borrowed in the morning, it is better before going to breakfast. And it’s better not to leave beach towels, but to put some of your personal belongings on the sunbeds. Towels left unattended are stolen by the Arabs themselves, because for the loss you will have to pay $ 15 / piece. So be careful. We were fed well, there was always enough of everything, we were not hungry. Regarding the monotony, I will say this: Arabic cuisine is the same everywhere, you might think that at home we eat pickles, and for every meal we cook something new and do not repeat ourselves. It's funny to me when people start complaining about the monotony. . . And here there is a choice, and not bad and everything is quite edible. And meat and fish, and fruits: guava, oranges, tangerines, melon, bananas, apples, dates, lemons, lots of vegetables. So people who had nothing to eat, I'll tell you this: go. . you probably need a shovel, or something else. Animation in the hotel is boring, not for young people. But discos are quite okay, the music is excellent. They take place on the territory of le jardin, in a small building on the beach from 23-00 to 2-00. Go, you won't regret. They pour it everywhere, throughout the territory, in all bars, only the main restaurants feed separately: the riviera at home, le jardin at home. As for excursions, this is a separate issue. He dishonored the face of Anex Tour! We bought excursions that he recommended to us, everything was done as expected. On the third day we went to Cairo. Not only were we not taken to the State Museum of Cairo, although they were supposed to according to the program, and we were not warned that it had not been working for several days, they also demanded an additional payment for a walk along the Nile at $ 5, and it was impossible to refuse it impossible, because immediately from the boat we were dropped off at a restaurant for lunch, that is, we were confronted with a fact. All toilets are paid. They fed us really well. Overall I liked the tour too. But, on the way back, before reaching Hurghada 150 km, we got up, because the road was barricaded by the Bedouins. Honestly, it was terrible, the guide did not explain anything to us, did not tell us what was happening. The bus driver just got out and went to take part in the general crowd of Arabs. He reassured us with the words: are you late? don't worry, I'll order you a late dinner. I think that we were the only ones from the whole group who went to the restaurant on compensation. Speaking of restaurants: so-so, we went to Asian - even more or less, and then you need to know what to order. And then we went to Italian, where there is a circus. There is nothing to eat, and there is only one restaurant, but two entrances))) on the one hand, the entrance is like in Italian, on the other - like in fish. The dishes are dirty. The food is the same as in the canteen))) In general, as a result of our struggle, one positive moment: Mohsen was removed!!! ! We never saw him again, instead of him there was another: a young Arab, judging by the communication, is much kinder and more positive. Therefore, accordingly, there are no complaints about Aneks Tour either, because they promptly took action. Prices for excursions, of course, are almost twice as expensive as on the street or from people in the hotel lobby. Excursion to Mohmeya Island costs $60. Guys, this is the same island as Paradise, only a side view. A trip to Paradise Island costs $25. Here.
