We took the number 15 ticket to Egypt for a week from 19 to 26 March. There were three of us, myself, my husband and a 4-year-old child. We bought a ticket at the Solaris agency, they work with TURTESS, I will never contact them again in my life, they have wound up on top of the Turtess price of $ 226, although the turtess website says that the agency commission is included in the amount indicated on the site, the amount on the site is I saw, she arranged for me, but she didn’t count it in hryvnias, but in vain ....

Now about the hotel. Let's go to 5* Emerald Golden Five. The hotel is new, it was just launched in November. It is located on the territory of the Golden Five City, which unites 5 hotels, including 1 3* hotel, 1 4* hotel and 3 5* hotels. To tell in 2 words: I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We asked for a hotel with a minimum number of Russian tourists. what did you get? A bunch of Russians who are wandering around the hotel as early as 11 am, the rooms have very poor insulation, you could hear the man in the next room constantly getting drunk and yelling, then throwing up, it was disgusting.
On the beach, sun loungers that were in the shade were "crammed" with a constantly lying flyer, panama hat or something else, and during the day no one even approached them. Sometimes there were no clean towels on the beach at all. If the people left the beach, they were even too lazy to throw away the food that they had not eaten and they simply left it in plates near the sunbeds, the same story with glasses. For a week we were 3 times for 1.5-2 hours at sea and 2 times by the pool. Moreover, the small one by the pool cut the eyelid under the eyebrow and cheekbone + bruise, I had to go to the doctor, thank God that I didn’t have to sew it up. yes, to enter the sea it is desirable to have coral slippers.

Nutrition. There are very few dishes adapted for Europeans. The declared children's menu, not at all for children ...The child ate pancakes for breakfast, we ate scrambled eggs, for lunch the child ate soup, in the evening soup. I don’t know what I got poisoned with, but I regret that I didn’t go to the doctor, because.
I felt bad for 2 days, diarrhea + vomiting, my husband only had diarrhea, so thank God that the child ate very selectively. There were few fruits. There were always oranges, sometimes withered tangerines, 1 time there were bananas and 2 times there was guava. All drinks had a bunch of dyes, even fanta, the child had an orange "mustache", because it was not always possible to catch bartenders with fresh juices. Fresh juices are paid $ 3 a glass. The food in general was not very tasty.

What is stated on the link about the hotel should be divided by 2, because there is no currency exchange at the hotel, you had to go to another hotel, you can’t pay with a Visa card at the hotel, only cash. At the reception, the intimacy of the Arabs is complete, the call of the staff "DarAgoy ... " just killed, until I explained that for them my husband is not "DarAgoy" but a mister, and when you start speaking pure English with the Arabs, they become very cultured and frightened)))) They treat the Russians very contemptuously, the Ukrainians are better, but not by much.
In the room:
• shower/bath
• hair dryer
• scales NO SCALES
• bathrobe NO robes
• individual air conditioning
• phone (there were no reception numbers near the phone, no ambulance, no police, nothing, but they called us to remind us about excursions)))))
• TV (satellite)
• 220 V
• mini-bar (filled the required daily allowance only after reminders)
• safe
• balcony
• room cleaning - daily (bedding was also changed only after requests)

Declared Internet in the hotel NO!!!

Saved us from lack of culture in the hotel excursions. 3 we took from the guide Turtessa at the hotel (a trip on a yacht to Giftun Island, a trip to Luxor and Sea Scope - a ship where you can see the entire underwater world of the Red Sea in the hold), and 2 we took outside the hotel, in a tour company ( "1001 nights" shows and super-safari, these are jeeps + ATVs), which I recommend doing, because it turns out really 1.5 times cheaper than Turtess, and everything is 1 in 1 the same.
Guides Turtessa Mustafa and Ramses 12, with whom we went to Luxor, tried to earn more money for their pocket than to talk about historical places. They bred tourists for cartouches, hibiscus rose, yellow tea, papyrus and alabaster at crazy prices, it was a pity for the people who fell for it.
