Were in this hotel from 24.08 to 04.09. 2009. We arrived at the hotel at 11-00, settled already at 11-45 - we didn’t even have time to finish the beer. I got a normal room, though with a view of the roof of a two-story bungalow and the "household yard" of a neighboring hotel. Furniture in the room, of course, so-so, but you can live. Everything worked in the bathroom, there were 4 Russian channels on TV, the conder worked with a bang. In general, there are no complaints about the number. They cleaned the room every day. 2 times left a dollar to the cleaner. Once they made swans out of towels for us, beautiful, well done (I couldn’t repeat it). The food at the hotel is good, there is plenty to choose from. I have never had any troubles with my stomach, although I have heard terrible stories from others. In the evenings, you can have dinner at the hotel - local chefs cook everything on the coals - very tasty + immediately entertained in the form of a dance with a skirt, etc. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the sea, but you can also take a local "train", i. e. on TAF-TAFE, the main thing is to find out the time of its movement (the schedule hangs at the main entrance to the hotel). The sea is a fairy tale (I think everyone knows this). We mostly rested on the right side of the beach, there are fewer of their agents who offer either massage or some pigtails, and most importantly there is a good entry into the sea. On the territory there are small slides, but it was enough for me. In the evenings every day we went to the dancing fountains to watch - it takes your breath away. Specifically, I did not like the local sellers - insolent. On the last day, when there was no money left, a shop with fixed prices was found in OUR hotel. In it, prices are the same as in the state store in Hurghada. The territory of the Golden 5 is huge, in 10 days they did not go around. We visited all the hotels, and almost all the restaurants of the hotels. My wife and I have mutually agreed that our hotel restaurant (Club) is the best. Regarding drinking: in the heat of the day - beer (either non-alcoholic, or not taking it - I didn’t understand), in the evening I took pure rum (I liked it). In the evenings, discos were held somewhere, but we didn’t go anywhere, we probably got tired of the rest : )
We left the hotel without any problems, the day before we turned to the reception desk for the calculation. By the way, for some reason, these (who are at the reception) have very angry faces, either because they are always on their feet, or because they didn’t pay their salaries : )
In general, for those who were able to read all this to the end, I will say that next year we will go to rest in this hotel and will not rack our brains with choosing a hotel, etc.
