Since in our covid times, the choice of where to go is small, especially in May, we considered Egypt for vacation. We were a group of four, 2 adults and 2 children. The ticket was purchased 3 months in advance. We chose and paid for a Family delux room with direct access to the pool, but upon arrival it turned out that during this time the hotel had changed the description of the rooms. We were settled in a room on the second floor, the hotel managers shrugged their shoulders and offered to pay 100 euros per day for a room with access to the pool (which is another +1400 euros for the room we already paid for). As a result, I had to come to terms with this fact and take what was given.
The territory of the hotel is quite large, well-groomed, many pools, its own water park, sunbeds in sufficient quantity. The sea is ankle-deep, so swimming in it will not work. But there is a pier nearby, you can take boat trips and sail away to swim already in the open sea, and it is amazing. For a hotel that is declared as 5 stars, it is very strange that they do not monitor the cleanliness in the dining room, sticky tables, poorly washed dishes, with dried residues... it will not work to pour tea or coffee on your own, you have to line up in a long line...
The food is monotonous, fed up in 2 weeks. You can go to an A la carte restaurant once per vacation, but there is also food from the dining room on the menu for free, something else for money.
