Rested 2 families with children 4 and 6 years old. In Egypt, the 4th time. In general, the hotel has a very favorable impression. The food is decent, the children also found something to eat (2 cereals, 2-3 types of soups, vegetables, ice cream without queues, fruits, instant juices, they didn’t offer fresh ones). The territory is new, beautiful, ennobled. No construction was carried out, there are some uninhabited buildings on the second line, but they are apparently ennobled from the inside. But one big (maybe insignificant for some) minus is that there is no sea at all. A puddle of water (at low tide the bottom is exposed, at high tide the depth is knee-deep maximum), there is no pontoon either. Since we came to rinse the children in the sea, we found the following way out: in the morning at low tide we went to a nearby hotel, which had an excellent gentle entry into the sea (it went bankrupt, so everyone was allowed on the beach, the only thing is that the beach is not cleaned of debris, but it is not lot). Well, in the evening, at high tide, we just stupidly lay already in our sea, like hippos, if only the children would flounder. We did not find decent reefs nearby, but I can’t say about their absence, because. they weren’t particularly looking for them, we went a couple of times to the pontoon of a neighboring hotel, showed the children the flora and fauna of the Red Sea. There is a kids club in the hotel, and more or less decent. I was not impressed with the mini-disco, we saw better ones, but the children liked it, so this is a purely adult opinion. The hotel has a chic children's pool with three children's slides, but unfortunately the water is not heated there (in April it warmed up only in the evening), they promised to improve soon. Heated main pool and pool with slides of the water park, the heating was turned off on May 1, but it was no longer needed. We also appreciated the rooms - large spacious rooms, new furniture, plasma TV, cleaned daily. Shampoos and teas were not updated regularly. There is a kettle in the room. Yes, before I forget, mosquitoes flew in the room at night and the children's raptor did not save us from them, so we had to sleep with the window closed, although the air at night was very fresh. Our children arrived bitten. They bought strawberries and the first watermelons on the street - very tasty and healthy for April.
Separately, I want to talk about the reception staff, we didn’t like one manager there (I don’t remember his name, they all have the same names, but he was wearing glasses). Either he constantly wanted to pull money from us, or he didn’t like us. Upon check-in, they gave him 20 bucks per room, so that he could check in immediately, because. we arrived at the hotel at 7 am, and he announced that 80% of the rooms are occupied, please wait until 14.00. And on the last day, we wanted to extend the rooms until 18.00, so he said that only 1 room can be extended. We turned later to another manager, so he extended both numbers without talking. And so from the reception periodically called, asked if everything suits us. In general, the hotel is trying to keep the brand and the rest we got, I think it's wonderful.
