We rested in this hotel from 14.10 to 21.10, 2009. We read the reviews and decided what would happen and decided to go here. At the airport, we were met by the tour operator Coral and quickly taken to the hotel by bus. At the reception we were issued very quickly. There were 3 of us and booked 2 rooms. We were offered to settle in a nice two-room suite near the reception, but we politely declined. We were given normal rooms without any extra charge. One on the first floor, the second - on the second. In one room there was a double bed, in the other two single beds, which we pushed together and got a triple bed. Everything worked in the room, in the mini-bar there were 2 bottles of water of 1.5 liters each and a bottle of Pepsi and Mirinda of 0.33 liters. So, you don't have to pay anything, everything is free. There were no lizards and there was no stench either!!!!! ! The fact that there is a construction site nearby, so there is a construction site everywhere. ALL rooms have garden or sea view. And not a single one at the construction site. It is visible only when you go to the room along the corridor.
It didn't upset us at all. No noise from the construction site. And when you are on the territory of the pool or on the beach, you can’t even see it ........
There was a little problem with the sun loungers, so we ourselves slept for a long time. At 10 o'clock all the sun loungers on the beach were already taken. But there were free pools at the main pool and at the indoor pool near the Italian restaurant. You can go to the staff who gives out towels and you will have a free sunbed on the beach ...In extreme cases, they will give you a mattress. It will be brought to the place and even covered with a towel. Mattresses were given to us for free! For sunbeds, we gave $ 1 for 3 sunbeds as a thank you. Trust me, it's worth it. Well, we love to sleep : )

The food is pretty decent. Very good pastries. Always 3 types of meat, fish, rice (every day the rice was with a new seasoning), pasta (also different every day). In general, the food for a 4 star hotel is very good. The staff is smiling and it doesn't matter what language you speak.
The main thing is not to be rude and you will be treated accordingly. The Arabs from the beach bar were very sorry when we left. Never had a problem with drinks. They were always given to everyone and full.
The beach is sandy. The sea is very clean. There is a reef where vacationers feed the fish with bread. The action is truly breathtaking.
The only negative, in our opinion, was the presence of vacationers from the second line. Too many people on the beach. And there is no separation of which side of the beach for which hotel .....All the sunbeds were occupied by vacationers from the hotel of the second line. Ours were closer to the pool.

Very angry hotel guide Coral Ahmed. He was very psyched when we refused to buy excursions from him for a lot of money. Forcing us to write a receipt that we refuse to take Coral excursions and if we buy an excursion on the beach, then he is not responsible for anything. We politely refused.
He then slipped an envelope under the door several times with an invitation to excursions, but we simply ignored them.

There were many English speaking guests and Germans in the hotel. This did not scare us at all, because I speak both English and German fluently. They behaved very decently and did not offend the Russians. We did not notice any special attitude towards the Germans from the staff.

I would especially like to note the work of the tour operator Coral. Arriving at the airport, we found out that our flight was delayed by 6 hours! We were loaded onto a bus and taken to the bus parking area with a request to wait until the guides contacted the authorities and decided what to do. We waited about an hour, maybe a little more. The people were very nervous, they demanded that they urgently be given water, food, and so on. When bottled water was given, people simply hid it and began to demand more!

When all issues with the authorities were resolved, we were taken to the five-star Tia Heights Makady Bay hotel so that we could rest there, if necessary, take a shower and have lunch. We could use the entire infrastructure of the hotel, it was impossible only to take alcoholic drinks. Water, soda, tea, coffee, food - all without restrictions. Then it turned out that the flight was delayed not by 6, but by 8 hours, but it seems that no one was even upset. The people continued to relax.
I would like to note that in the Grand Plaza Hotel pastries in restaurants and bars were an order of magnitude better than in this five-star hotel. The food wasn't much different. The only thing we noticed was the vegetables were fresher. And the service was not 4 stars, but five. But it's clear...

But with entertainment in the Grand Plaza, nothing at all. In the evening there is a children's disco and that's all........But we entertained ourselves, walked a lot, went to the hotel on the second line. So for 7 days they did not have time to get bored.
During the day on the beach there was aqua aerobics, volleyball, Latin dances. There was a kids club. The kids enjoyed their time there. The animation team includes Germans, Russians, and English-speaking employees.
