Hello! Finally got around to write a review about our wonderful holiday in Hurghada. We stayed at this hotel two weeks ago.
We arrived at the hotel in the evening around 4:30 pm. We were seated immediately, without delay. The room was given exactly the same as in the photo on the tour operator's website (Pegas Touristik) and without any extra charge. The room is very spacious, good repair, fairly new, the room has a free safe, electric kettle, sugar, tea, coffee. We didn’t spend money on drinking water at all - every day we were given a 1.5 liter bottle without additional payment.
Towels and bed linen were changed every day, cleaned - too. The quality of cleaning is good and does not depend on tips. But we considered it necessary to thank the cleaning guy, he works "with soul". In general, my husband and I had no complaints.
The hotel is very cozy, beautiful green area (though not big) with magnificent flowering shrubs and trees. This hotel is not suitable for party people, but for people looking for a relaxing holiday, and for families with children - what you need! Good pools (not very deep), water bar, jacuzzi, slides.
The Grand Plaza Resort is located across the street from the beach and the Grand Plaza Hotel. Go on the strength of 7-10 minutes along the alley through wooden arbors, entwined with greenery and flowers. The swimming pool next to the beach is great. The beach itself is also clean and nice. Our coral slippers were not useful there. The entrance is shallow, so the kids will be fine.
You will be able to use the territory and infrastructure of both hotels, with the exception of the restaurants of the Grand Plaza Hotel. There for you - only a bar near the beach.
The food was excellent, tasty and varied. In the morning and afternoon - in a closed restaurant with large windows, in the evening - in the air. Every day there was meat, kebab, fish fillet, vegetables, rice, pastries, fruits (melon and oranges, sometimes peaches in fruit salad and pastries). Twice in 11 days they gave crabs and once squid. Breakfast, like everywhere else, is a little monotonous, but there is always something that you would like to eat. )))
The Grand Plaza Hotel has a good evening animation for children. In the afternoon, there is animation for everyone in the pool, aerobics and volleyball on the beach. I liked the Egyptian massage with Mario in the Health Club. A little pricey for us, but it was worth it!
The staff at the hotel is very friendly, smiling, joking, everyone understands Russian, English will come in handy only in Hurghada itself, when you go for souvenirs. Taxi from Grand Plaza Resort to Hurghada costs $2. Don't overpay. Negotiate a price right away, without getting into the car. I really liked the hotel guide Irina, a nice friendly girl, she helped to solve all our problems, informed about prices, excursions, answered all our questions. We took 3 excursions - Luxor, super safari and Utopia island - I advise everyone! In general, the most pleasant and positive impressions about the rest in Egypt and in this hotel, we are very pleased with the rest!
