I visited La Perla in October 2008. But I remember everything like now. Now we are remembering this vacation with a friend (we met at a hotel and have been talking for 4 years already, although I live in Ukraine, she is in Latvia) with laughter, but then these 7 days were just survival courses. every morning when I woke up, I thought what disgusting and dirty tricks to expect from the staff. but everything is in order.
Arrived at 1 am. The plane was 8 hours late. But despite this, there was no free room for me. Settled in a single room with another family together. They said until 5 am. I wonder who they were going to evict from the room at 5 am remains a mystery. After the refusal, I sat down in the hotel lobby and waited for 5 in the morning, since at that time I didn’t have to wait long. After 20 minutes, they gave me a separate room. Hooray!! ! The room was at that time normal for me. Towels were changed, the bed too, cleaning every day but....but at the same time they managed to break the combination lock on the suitcase, pour half the shampoo from the package,
friends also lost cigarettes with money. But this is all trifle. Food is a special conversation. In the morning at 7 o'clock you could still find something to eat. later there were no more eggs. Fruit-zero, sweets-zero, dry buns, coffee surrogate. Ate some salads of tomatoes and cucumbers. If you want to lose weight fast, this hotel is for you. I bought a ticket - all inclusive. In the end, there was nothing. No one received the water that was supposed to be given out separately. We bought ourselves. When I bought a ticket, it was indicated that the beach was opposite, across the road. I peered across the road for a long time, but even a puddle on the horizon was not visible. Then, after considerable wandering, we nevertheless found it. The guide from our travel agency appeared only at 19 o'clock the next day. So they survived as best they could. And we could not do much, without knowledge of English and Arabic. I was very lucky that at that time there were 8 single Slavic women from Russia, Belarus, Latvia, Ukraine.

And we all created our company together and helped each other survive together. Somae I had more problems. For some reason, it was on me that the Arabs decided to try all the problems that many tourists have not encountered for many years. Every day was a test for me. First, there is no number. Then, when we went to Cairo to the pyramids, from the dry rations we saw, my girlfriend and I had hysterical laughter for another 3 hours. In a huge red box were 2 tiny dried buns and a juice bag. ALL FOR 24 HOURS. it's good that compassionate tourists from 5 * shared their rations on the bus. I took a safe at the hotel, otherwise I would have to carry a camera and a passport with me all the time around the city. Which is basically not safe. For the key in case of loss, they immediately warned - a fine of 120 dollars. All the time carrying the key on excursions, the only thought was not to lose it. Therefore, on the next excursion, I decided to leave it in the room.
Having previously hidden it in a cosmetic bag, covering it in a drawer with a bunch of other things. Came back from a tour and found that the key was missing. I went to the reception and said that the key was taken away. In response, you lost $ 120. And this is my last day, $ 20 money, and my passport is in the safe. The guide was seen 2 times in 7 days and there is no phone or any coordinates. My friend and I went to the hotel manager and to the attendants, as a result, zero. The guide was called with the help of a guide from another travel agency. He talked and said that if I, or they, do not find it by 19 pm, then we will call the police. In short, I was shaking all day. When the new duty officer at the reception returned in the evening, he calmly gives me the key with the words: "I WENT INTO YOUR ROOM AND TAKEN THE KEY THAT THE CLEANER DID NOT STOL" !!!! ! After picking up the passport, the rest of the day I carried everything I had with me. Based on my interactions with other guests, I have come to the following conclusions:
1. Do not settle for rooms in the neighboring hotel "Fantasy" - this is even worse,
ask for your number.
2. Do not leave the keys to the safe, money and valuables in the room. And always, if you change the number, first take the keys to the new number, and in front of witnesses, give the keys to the old one. Otherwise, they then say that you did not give them back and demand a fine to pay for the loss. This is what they often do.
3. Write in advance in the book at the reception that you do not have towels in the room, or something else. Otherwise, when you check out, they will demand money from you for the towels you "stolen".
4. Feeding started better if the whole hotel complained to the manager or owner.

5. Not far from the hotel there are main offices of many travel agencies. If the hotel does not have the list of services that you were promised, go there and write a complaint on the spot. By the way, this also applies to excursions. On the spot, they can compensate you for the inconvenience. Upon arrival at home, there is no point in writing complaints. Guides do nothing. So head straight to the office and write, write, write.
Rest in the hotel is terrible, I do not advise you to go there, especially with children. Good luck everyone. I hope my tips are helpful.
