Were in Albatros Jungle Aqua Park 4 in late April - early May 2010. Being not the first time in Hurghada, I can take the liberty of saying that this is one of the best hotels in it, despite the 4 stars. We traveled as a family of 4, took 2 adjacent bungalows (my husband and I in one, my grandmother with a child in another). We are back absolutely delighted! ! ! Unforgettable holiday experience! An insanely beautiful hotel (and in a couple of years it will be prohibitively beautiful in general - it is new, the plants have just been planted, they still need to grow))), it is designed so that each residential area has 1-2-storey bungalows (and there are a lot of them ) has its own pool, and every vacationer has the opportunity in the morning, and throughout the day, to swim in it without crowds. In total, there are about 35 pools on the territory, and the whole hotel looks like a little Venice - with bridges and islands decorated with sculptures of various animals.
A huge territory, a separate part of which is the largest water park in Hurghada. Vacationers from other hotels are taken there on excursions for $ 35, everything is free for us). The water park is really cool, with many slides of various configurations, with an elevator and a large number of inflatable "cheesecakes" for 1-2 or several people. On each slide there is a lifeguard who will land, guide and follow the descent. On the territory of the water park - separately - a children's water park with a heated pool and all sorts of swings, carousels for kids. Another one of the same - on the territory of the hotel, excellent safe slides and other entertainment for children. Our child was completely delighted, it was hard to get him out of there) Despite the "tourists" in the water park, there were always free sunbeds for the hotel residents, and in general there was no discomfort!

Very varied and tasty food, not a single indigestion (which, in general, is typical for Egypt), 5 restaurants with a variety of cuisines (from Asian to Mediterranean), an abundance of delicious meat, fish and fruits, all day long - hot pizza cooked according to individual order in a wood-fired oven and ice cream of different varieties in unlimited quantities for children and adults. Cleanliness all around, all bridges and embankments are washed with mops with detergent in the evening (! ), the cleaning in the rooms is also very high quality, our janitor Yosria every day gave us gifts in the form of swans, snowmen, hearts and lilies twisted from towels, moreover, regardless of the ones left tips) The rooms are chic, each can easily accommodate a family of 4 people, they are divided by curtains into 2 parts, in one there is either 1 double bed or 2 single beds, in the other there are 2 single beds, or there are also rooms with bunk beds.
Why then 4 stars???! ! ! It's all about the distance from the sea - you have to go by bus to get there. But he never had to wait more than 10 minutes, and it takes about 5 minutes to drive to the territory of the neighboring Dana Beach hotel, they take him directly to the beach. The beach is huge, the sea in the lagoon is quite clean, you can ride on the territory of Dana Beach for free on catamarans (by yourself) or on "river buses" (carry), there they have a river flowing through the entire hotel, there were always free sunbeds on the beach, entering the sea soft and very comfortable. The contingent of vacationers - 60% - Germans, 35% - Russians, the remaining 5% - French and Slovaks. The neighboring hotel Leila Wa Leila went every day to play tennis or ping-pong (half an hour for free - it belongs to the same hotel chain PicAlbatros).
