We flew in April with my family: me, my wife and two children (3 and 13 years old). We had some doubts about the choice - far from the sea, but in the end we were not disappointed. The hotel is a solid "Egyptian" five.
Check-in at 12 hours is almost instantaneous. A friendly conversation with an Arab at the reception, a chocolate bar, 20 bucks in the passport, and as a result, after 12 minutes - we are in room 1048 (exactly opposite the entrance to the water park). The room is spacious, comfortable - five beds (one of them is two-level), a normal TV set, wardrobes, a safe. Everything is within a minute and a half reach - water park, main restaurants and bars, reception. All this applies to numbers from 1000 to 2999. The rest are farther away, in general, no worse, but for fitness lovers. Out of curiosity, I once walked around the hotel completely - 40 minutes.
The hotel is clean, the staff constantly sweeps something, washes, scrubs, cuts. The service is unobtrusive, responsive and certainly doesn't mind baksheesh. 5 pounds left rather out of habit, I think without them everything would be on the level. For all the time we crossed paths with the cleaner in the room once, on the rest of the days the cleaning took place imperceptibly for us and was generally of high quality.

Having read about the hotel Wi-Fi, in the evening we went to the Senzo Mall (past the neighboring "Leyla", through a wasteland with go-carts on the right side) and bought a 3G modem with a SIM card from etisalat (you could also plug it into your MTS-ovsky, but did not bother to unlock in time). I made several mistakes - I didn’t change the bucks, I didn’t take my card and passport. I changed the bucks right there at the ATM-exchanger (the local one changes banknotes no more than 50 bucks), talked the seller of etisalat to sell everything without documents - slipped a copy of the voucher, he hesitated and agreed. As a result: modem 150 pounds + SIM card 125 pounds = six gigs of "unlimited". The speed is crap, but for the "read" and Skype was enough behind the eyes.
Everything is in order with the sea - every half hour a bus to its own beach - 7 minutes (spotted). Once they returned on foot - 25 minutes (the three-year-old son also spanked on foot). The beach, in my opinion, is even more convenient than that of the neighboring one from "Dana Beach" - in the depths of the bay there is sand and fine (but muddy), further away - stones and clear water, and opposite the windsurfing club there is an excellent sandy entry into the water, there we parked all the time. A little further away is the pier, which protects from the waves. There are no live corals inside the bay, but on the other side of the pier everything is alive and moving in the wave. On the beach there is a bar from the hotel, drinks, beer and from 12-00 to 14-30 fast food and salads.
The hotel has three main restaurants (which are open with short breaks for breakfast, lunch and dinner), two more large ones are open only for dinner. Plus, there are a lot of bars between the restaurants. In the water park - drink and ice cream, at the second entrance to the hotel (at the water park) - "food court": fast food, pita bread, salads, and more. You can have a bite to eat there, you can take it to the water park. I won’t write about how they feed - a sore subject, I gained 7 kilos...
In the direction of going to the beach (approximately in the middle) - the Cleopatra store with fixed prices, very convenient for those who do not like or do not know how to bargain. There is almost everything, toys, swimming accessories, shoes for corals, different leatherette (leather is rare), textiles, perfume oils, souvenirs, a jewelry store on the second floor. Who did not have enough "Cleopatra" on both sides of her - bazaars. They practically didn’t go to Hurghada itself (only to leather salons) - they bought everything they wanted at Cleopatra and at the bazaar prices are really lower than even in the old city.

Once I spoiled the mood of "Gene" from the hotel travel agency "Sky" - promising a Russian group and a Russian guide, he sent me on a boat trip, where only we were Russians. But in the end, the walk turned out to be even cooler than later we went on a similar one from Teztour.
Tau that the hotel is good, the location is good, the rest is awesome.
