My wife and I were in Egypt for the first time. On the recommendation of the "Tez Tur" employee, the hotel was booked in advance, but in the tour package they indicated to us "Minamark Beach Club 4 *", supposedly the same hotel, but they just completed the renovation, so the prices are $ 20 more expensive, and there is more silence than in the old buildings " Mina Mark Beach. And since I said that I intend to use the tours they offer, I was advised not to spend money in vain and not to take "ALL INCLUSIVE", but to take only breakfast and dinner. As it turned out later, all these tips cost us quite a lot.
And so, upon arrival, we were taken to the hotel. "Minamark Beach Club 4 *" turned out to be one of the buildings of the "MinaMark Beach Resort 4 *", although during the entire stay I did not find the word "Club" anywhere for which I overpaid. We were settled in this very "Club" and in the future my repeated attempts to change the room (albeit with a surcharge) did not lead to anything. There were no basic things in the room, such as a teapot, tea bags, etc. , a hair dryer, soap, etc. Only in the bathroom are two glasses with greasy fingerprints that could be used to count the number of former guests. Under the windows on the wall, the air-conditioning system of the entire hotel howled around the clock, and the howl was like from a plane warming up the engine. And from the first floor, all the flavors of oriental cuisine in a mixed state rose. The room was never cleaned, only after repeated comments, they made the bed, changed the towels for more dirty ones (fortunately, we had our own). From the first day, there was some kind of sticky substance on the floor in the center of the room (possibly chewing gum in the past), we always avoided it, and only on the last day the cleaner bothered to clean the floor, and then after my demand to give me a service evaluation sheet (although I have warned him several times before. For the entire vacation, we tried to take almost all the tours, just not to go into the room once again. Unfortunately, almost all tours started and ended at night, so it was not always possible to use breakfast or dinner at the hotel restaurant. They mostly gave out travel rations for food on the bus. Buses are a separate issue: after an air-conditioned trip all night to Cairo, everyone got pneumonia and spent the whole vacation coughing together, and after returning they had to take sick leave for another week. The hotel itself pulls a maximum of 3 *, the food is monotonous, not tasty, I wanted to cry from the animation. In this whole story, the only plus (and a big one for me) is that we managed to see almost all of Egypt, next time we will only go to rest and pay special attention to the quality of the hotel.
Tips: if you take "MinaMark Beach", take only the "old" buildings leading to the beach, do not take "Minamark Beach Club" even for free. Take food only "ALL INCLUSIVE", only then you can feel normal and not get into awkward situations. Have a nice holiday.
