This is our ninth visit to Egypt. This time we decided to visit Hurghada, where we had not been for 7 years. So, I'll be brief. Departure from Sheremetyevo without delay, meeting at the airport is also normal. On the way, several people were brought to other hotels, and ours was the last one. The room was immediately given a good, quiet, large, with access to a small pool. The next day, having put "from fist to fist" twenty greens, we got another room near the main pool and access to it from the terrace.
So the hotel.
It is located seven kilometers from Hurghada. Around, except for five shops and abandoned construction sites, there is nothing. Inside the hotel is clean and green. The buildings are arranged as if they were two hotels, that is, they look like two letters P, standing next to each other, inside of which there is a pool and a bar. The beach is sandy with wooden deck chairs. On the left there is a wild beach. A concrete pier protrudes into the sea, near which a large school of small fish is constantly rubbing.

Fishing is allowed from this pier. We were lucky with the weather, there was no wind. The bulk of tourists are located near the pool, because there is no hint of wind at all, and it’s more fun there. Moreover, behind the pool there is a bar, a green lawn and immediately a beach. The contingent of the hotel is Germans, after all, this is their hotel. Hence the management of the hotel without pretensions to rudeness. Having lived in the hotel for a week, they really began to replace some non-German words during the conversation. In the morning, from all corners of the hotel, you can only hear, MORGAN, MORGAN, MORGAN! Anyway, it's all for fun))) The sea temperature near the hotel was not cool, they came in with shouts of Hurray! But when you melt, you get used to it. All this is due to the fact that there is a wide shallow in which there is no current, and water from the open sea does not reach the beach. Therefore, the coastal strip cools at night, but does not have time to warm up. If you sail further into the sea, then there is another conversation. There are no beautiful fish near the hotel, as I expected.
Although I managed to get a healthy stingray a couple of times. Also saw an electric stingray. The food at the hotel, I would say, is ordinary, that is, without frills. But, in principle, everything is there, and chicken, and meat, and fish. There are sweets, but everything tastes the same, cakes are rare. It was nice to have two restaurants. Although they are the same, but it is useful for a change of scenery) There is animation, and the animator Wako started it there. It would be boring without him. Evening show programs, apparently due to winter, now take place not on the site provided for this, but in the bar of the main building (I didn’t remember the names of the bars). There is also a mini-disco and a disco. The large pool has different levels of depth. It hosts aqua aerobics, water polo and diver training. Nearby there is a children's "paddling pool" with a small slide. The small pool, which is on the other side of the hotel, has two slides higher. There are also a couple of jacuzzis, a children's club, a spa and a gym. In the evenings we tried to go to the city. Taxi $3 to Sheraton.
Hurghada at first plunged into despondency with its garbage, poverty and dirt, but then they got used to it, especially since they always found a common language with the locals. They expected to meet with the rudeness described in many reviews, but now I am firmly convinced that these "writers" apparently have a stigma in fluff, because there is no smoke without fire. Prices in Hurghada are lower than in Sharm and not wanting to buy anything, I still rammed home almost a suitcase of all sorts of things))) We didn’t take excursions from the guide, we swam from the local club on a yacht to the reefs and to the paradise island for $ 35 per person. The weather was calm and the walk was a thrill, although the composition of the expedition was international and only the guide-photographer spoke Russian. Five days before the departure, information about the rallies in Cairo went on TV, but this had no effect on the situation in Hurghada. Until the end of our stay, nothing changed. In general, during the two weeks of our stay at the hotel, nothing interesting happened,
everything turned into a "seal" holiday. The hotel itself is pretty good for the money we paid for it, but only in the evenings we were excited by memories of Sharm, Naama at night, SOHO, the warm sea teeming with fish (((For ourselves, we have already decided for sure that they said goodbye to Hurghada forever... well, or at least for a long time.
