Were Palm Beach with my husband and almost three year old child from 9 to 16 October. Rested with Mostrevel. We flew from Transaero, arrived late, customs, visas are all fast. But the luggage was waiting for a long time. But they were seated in an organized manner on buses and taken to hotels. We were immediately taken to a restaurant for a "late dinner", and after dinner we were settled in 5 minutes. True, at the reception they emphasized that they give a very good number, hinting at baksheesh. We paid $5 and have never regretted it. The room was five steps from the sea, on the second floor with a terrace overlooking the playground. The room is standard, with a double bed, and they brought another couch for the child (although we did not use it). The room was cleaned every day, sheets and towels were changed every day. We left $1 every other day. There were mosquitoes a couple of nights, but we took a fumigator with us, and there were no problems. Since we woke up early, there were no problems with sunbeds, but it’s better not to get up from the sunbed until 8 in the morning, otherwise while you are swimming, you can lose both your place and things (vigilant Arabs will take everything to the storage room). The sea is clean and transparent. The beach is excellent, children expanse. Guide Ahmed is very pleasant, intelligent person. Could advise where to go. He dissuaded us from traveling with a child to Luxor (since it is very tiring), and advised us to go to a paradise island (the trip was just super!!! ). We went on a free tour of Hurghada, in a cozy bus with air conditioning. We visited the oil factories and the papyrus museum. At the end of the tour, we stopped at the state store Karnak Bazaar with fixed prices (I didn’t know that you can also bargain in the state store! ). Of course, you don’t really look like there, since we were in a hurry and there was little time. But we bought all the souvenirs there, although for $ 3 you could take a taxi to Sakkala and take a walk there slowly. There were also small shops with souvenirs and cotton in front of the hotel. I liked the third store, Misha (Myalik), an unobtrusive young man, works there, you can bargain well with him, and in the last two shops there are pleasant sellers who don’t hang on to you, and you could also bargain, and also play backgammon with Bob, and feel like visiting good old friends!! ! Restaurants are not bad, but we liked the restaurant on the second floor, there are no queues, and good service. The food is good, without any frills, adapted to our national Russian food. Rice, pasta, potatoes, meat, chicken, very tasty fish. We were treated to camel meat and quails. the pastries were on top, you can not pass by, everything is very tasty. Fruit was a problem. Green dates and oranges, sometimes pomegranates. Melon for lunch. But on the other hand, they have never been poisoned, which is insanely happy. The bar is very good near the large pool Oasis bar, they made delicious cocktails, and very polite bartenders, unlike the bar near the stage. There are just rude. The hotel area is small, very cozy and clean. The area was well cleaned. Mostly a contingent of married couples, pensioners. There are few young people, and very well, no one yelled, no one got drunk. The hotel is good only for families with children. The animators are great. In the afternoon it was possible to do aerobics, belly dancing, football. And in the evening there was a mini disco, after which there were interesting shows every day. We went with a good mood, and had a very good rest!!!!!!! If we are going to Hurghada again, then only in Palm Beach!! !
