Hi everyone! I want to share my impressions about the rest in Egypt. Just arrived. We rested at the Palm Beach Resort (4 stars) on an all-inclusive basis.
I liked the rest very much! We flew from winter to a summer fairy tale! The Red Sea is very beautiful, clean and inviting. The fish can be seen a mile away in the water, because it is transparent like a tear!
Our operator was Turtes (Ukraine), and the host in Egypt was Travco (the same Turtes, but in Egypt it is called like that).
The hotel itself is very good. Large clean green area. Two huge swimming pools, jacuzzi, children's pools. At first we were put in a room without a balcony. All rooms without a balcony end in 3. And when I checked in, I gave 10 dollars, I asked for a good room. But they told me that now all the good rooms are occupied and they didn’t take money and they said that they would be moved in a day and wrote it down somewhere (that is, they had to live in this room for two days).
In general, we spent the night there, and I went again, and they told me that we would move tomorrow, in the end we waited for our guide and with his help and 20 dollars. moved to a great room, overlooking the sea and with a balcony, and this room was 1.5 times larger.
The food in the hotel is quite monotonous. But the choice is great. The main thing is not to be capricious. There were delicious dishes and not. Nobody was ever hungry. The pastries are simply amazing, I will remember these cakes and buns for a long time. Feeding virtually the whole day. From morning until midnight.
Drinks are all free (except for fresh juices). By evening, they ate and drank so much that it almost didn’t go out of their ears. Very tasty alcoholic cocktails, only I asked that they make delicious, and did not choose from the proposed list.
The Arabs in the hotel are very courteous, trying to please.
They won't let you sit in a bar without a drink, they're just offended If you don't order anything and refuse. I had to order even through force, so as not to offend them ....
The room was cleaned every day, the room has everything you need: hair dryer, soap, shower gel…. . On the beach and by the pool there are sunbeds with mattresses and towels. All this is free.
Since we rested in January, unfortunately we didn’t swim in the sea much. Because it is quite cold, 15 degrees, no more, I plunged 3 times in seven days. We spent all the sunny time by the pool. It is warm there, there is no wind (as on the beach) and the water in the pool is heated. Somewhere from 10 am to 4 pm it was warm, seals lay in the sun. Then it gets colder and the sun sets. So take warm things for the evening: blouses, so that you can put them on the street and take them off indoors.
The animation in the evening was not by the pool (as usual) in the fresh air, but indoors (because
it was cold there in the evening) in the Laguna bar. Everything would be fine, only because it was not ventilated there, and the majority of the public smoked, there was nothing to breathe there. But I had to sit, because it was just interesting and there was nothing to do in the evening.
The hotel is 7 km from the city of Hurghada. On the one hand, it is clean air, away from the city. But on the other hand, outside the hotel - it's a desert. There is nowhere to go and it's cold in the evening besides. You can order a taxi and go to Hurghada. We did just that, only it’s better not to go to the old city (Down town), but to the new one (especially if you are two women). In the old city, our two acquaintances somehow decided to take a walk, so they ran away from there, due to the fact that the Arabs did not give them a passage there, and one woman was almost stolen altogether. And in the new city there are no problems. A bunch of Europeans, hotels, Arabs are obsessive, of course, but you can endure)
More about animation.
There is children's animation (and in general there are many families with children, there is a playground and the animator boy specially entertains the children all day). In addition to this, there is also an Arab animator. Sticks to vacationers on the beach and near the pool and invites to play different games. Animator Natasha from Ukraine (conducts water and such gymnastics with vacationers), another Russian girl, she organizes belly dances in the late afternoon, then a guy from Israel, but who speaks good Russian and another guy from St. Petersburg. I want to write about him separately, because he looks very much like a person close to me who is no longer on earth.
One evening there was a national show, some Arabs were dancing. The other evening was the Mr. Palm Beach contest. And another evening there was a show of animators, they danced amazing dances, to beautiful music, thank you very much to them, I really liked it!
In general, the holiday turned out just wonderful!
I've been in a fairy tale!!!! ! Didn't want to leave. Still, 7 days are not enough (we went on 2 day trips to Cairo and Luxor), we just got used to it, just got used to it, and already home! It was very, very sad!
I liked everything and the pyramids and the temple in Luxor! I have a lot of impressions, now I will buy books about Egypt and I will study! Bought a lot of souvenirs! And I really want to go back there!
