Finally I was going to write a review about the hotel fairy tale. We were in this stylized hotel from April 25 to April 30.2011.
In Egypt for the third time, that year we were also in April, but only in the Grand Plaza, before that we visited the Sunrise Garden Beach Resort (the hotel is just wonderful, but constantly in the foot), we were very happy that we finally discovered Egypt, on the way it was a week of vacation, and my husband and I spontaneously decided that we were going to Egypt and of course from the Tez tour, we really like this tour operator in Egypt, opened their prices and were very happy with the cost of tours, and when I saw that there was a hotel Alf Leila Wa Leila, then without hesitation, we decided to go to it (I looked after it for a vacation that year, but when we took vouchers a week before departure, it was not there, I really like stylized hotels). The hotel was on instant confirmation.
And so the tour operator Tez tour, flight to Hurghada Taimyr (NordStar Airlines), I can’t say anything bad about the flight, everything is fine, the meeting at the airport went well, customs went through quickly, since there were few people, not like that year.
We were seated on buses and on the way, it took about 30 minutes to the hotel with a check-in at three more, and now we found ourselves in a fairy tale, the hotel is very beautiful for all the full 5 days, we didn’t see it all, we didn’t see chess, since we only got there to the German village, they didn’t go further, and there wasn’t enough time, in the morning to the sea, in the evening to the pools, and it’s soon dark there.
A lot has been said and written about the hotel in the reviews, it is very large and beautiful, something is constantly being cleaned, washed, flowers are watered on the territory, you can’t build so much on the first line, the fact that this is the second or third, as people write, the line did not bother us not at all, the rooms are good, but not big, the furniture is a little old, but nothing is broken, upon check-in they gave us 20 dollars and we were settled in building 6 in room 625, saying that the view from the room is very beautiful, the view is really good, but at 15 o’clock the animation started at the pool and a quiet hour in the afternoon, we didn’t succeed, there was a free safe in the rooms, a hairdryer in the bathroom, the housekeeping was wonderful, although the boy who cleaned didn’t understand Russian well, but we almost didn’t communicate with him, since everything was immaculate, the fridge was always stocked with bottles of plain water. There are two Russian channels, the first and Russia through Ukraine.
As for food, everything is fine with this hotel, it was worse in Grand Plaza, there are a lot of vegetables, there are soups for lunch and dinner, desserts are very tasty, Jupi juices, beer and three types of wine, red, rose and white. We went to the Moroccan restaurant, everything seemed very spicy there, in the main we liked it more. In the evenings we walked around the territory, everything is very beautiful there. In the shop when leaving the hotel, we bought packaged juice and strawberries from Misha, I really like guava juice. We went to the show 1001 nights, you can see nothing a couple of times.
A bus runs to the beach every 15-20 minutes, it takes about 5 minutes to go, but you can also walk, we went by bus, the first bus leaves from 8.30, the last from the beach around 17.30. The beach is clean, large, there are always free sunbeds. From 10 o'clock you can take drinks, from 12 o'clock you can have a snack with salads, hamburgers and fruits. On the beach you can ride horses and camels for free.
The reception at the hotel is beautiful, money exchange through an ATM, the bank at the hotel is temporarily closed, we only changed 50 dollars once (the boy from the store helped, since the ATM seems to be in Arabic), and then we bought everything for dollars, the exchange rate to the dollar is 5.9.
The hotel has a golf course, half an hour of play for free.
