My previous review of the hotel is a short excerpt from the reviews of other people. And now my impressions and my family. I hope that it will come in handy for those who are going to Egypt for the first time.
Accommodation and rooms.
Ordered and paid for the standard. At the reception, I asked for a famile room, as I was with my 13-year-old daughter and wanted to have parental privacy. The supplement was $23 per night. They offered a choice of two rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors in a house near the pool with heating and a bar (it seems Oasis bar). Chosen on the second. Two large rooms with a kitchen counter and a large shower room, two air conditioners, two TVs and a mini safe. The furniture is certainly not the first youth, but the mattresses and pillows are new. In general, we were satisfied with everything and liked it. They cleaned and towels were changed every day, I won’t say the bed, as I didn’t look closely. 1 dollar left in a day.

Walking around the territory, I liked the one-story bungalows with rooms for 4 and exits from the opening terraces to their pools. They look like newer rooms with new furniture.

Nutrition.
They were very satisfied. There was always a choice that fully satisfied the desire to eat varied. There were also fried crabs, deep-fried squid, shrimp, grilled meat. Fruits did not please with variety: apples (always a lot), dates, melons, bananas. There were practically no queues for food being prepared: at most 2-4 people and at the same time they were served very quickly. We didn’t drink alcohol, so I can’t say anything, and beer is sometimes more or less normal.

Pools.
Mostly splashing in their pool. There are 7 or 8 of them on the territory of the hotel. All are not very large and not deep. In the central (active) and in ours it was 1.5m and 1.6m deep. In the rest it seems no more than 1.4.
In the center there was a small waterfall, a volleyball net and water polo gates. There was also animation.

Territory.
The taste and color ...Some people like large areas and park areas. The territory of this hotel is quite large, but there is not much greenery (big trees). But we liked this hotel because of its color. The central street from the entrance to the courtyard with restaurants and a show arena is stylized as an eastern street with shops, cafes, and a restaurant. In the evening, the courtyard in front of the restaurants (Moroccan, Italian and Asian) is beautifully illuminated, a fountain beats and you can comfortably sit and drink coffee.

Entertainment.
The hotel hosts the show "1000 and 1 night" every evening. They bring vacationers from other hotels and for them it costs money. All this is free for hotel guests. The show is so-so, but it's definitely worth watching once, and then at will.
Twice later we watched the “singing fountains” and the “tanura” dance (a man spinning in one direction in hoop skirts, while undressing and changing clothes). The dance "tanura" in the hotel is 10 times cooler in performance than the similar one shown to us in the "Bedouin village".

We did not participate in the animation, we only went to an evening performance once. Liked! And the show, and the oriental entourage in the amphitheater and waiter service during the show.

Service.
There were no complaints. Everything is always clean and tidy. There was no undue pushiness or neglect. The staff is polite and understand enough Russian speech. Well, here, of course, probably, and how you behave with them. I learned a couple of phrases: Hello, Goodbye, Thank you, Please - and communication with everyone was mutually pleasant. He gave tips only at will, giving out about 30 pounds (5 dollars) in total.

Beach.
There were only once.
The bus runs frequently (observed at different times when walking and going on excursions). The beach is good: a lot of sunbeds, sand, a good entry into the sea and then the opportunity to wander through the shallow water. We did not need slippers for the sea.

Weather.
Were from 29.04 to 07.05. The weather was great. The first three days in the evening it was even fresh, and at night I covered myself with a blanket. Then it got warmer and the last few days have already become hot. But all within a reasonable summer holiday.

Tours.
We went from TEZ-TOUR. The hotel guide issued his price list the next morning after his arrival and, of course, strictly warned about all the horrors of ordering excursions not from them. After him, I went to the office of the travel agency, which is located to the right of the entrance to the reception corridor (it will be clear on the spot). They offer only sea excursions and excursions to the desert (motorbike, jeeps ... ). Prices are lower than from TEZ-TOUR with all discounts for 10-15 dollars. per person on one tour.
Further, using the recommendations of friends, I called the travel agency SAIF TOURS in Hurghada. A couple of hours later, the girl Natasha arrived, and with her I completed a marketing research and, bargaining from the prices of a hotel travel agency, I bargained for excursions 5-10 dollars lower and 10% (40 dollars) on the total amount. We booked a trip to Luxor, diving for me and my daughter, a trip to El Gouna and a Mega Desert Safari.

I liked the diving. It was our first experience, everything worked out. The price included 2 dives, for an additional 15 dollars. did the third one. Plus, we swam with a mask and snorkel over the corals (as they explained to us, this is called scrolling).
El Gouna is an easy boat trip to the island city, or rather a bunch of islands connected by bridges. This "miracle" is called the Egyptian Venice. I have not been to Venice, but I think they are similar only in bridges and boat trips. Also, bathing and scrolling; and fishing on the donka (whoever caught gobies on a fishing line will understand).
In general, the family liked it.
Mega-Safari - the tour included trips on motorbikes (30 minutes in a large column), a jeep trip to a stylized Bedouin village (drivers are Egyptians), there is an excursion and camel riding, buggy riding (10 minutes), dinner and evening show. Returning home in a jeep (why I write that in a jeep, because groups on motorbikes also came to the village, which went back and forth on their own. I can’t compare, but next time I would probably go for a change on motorbikes). The family liked it very much. Buy Bedouin shawls in advance (we bought them for $1 each (in the shops they start offering from $5 - haggle), and they sold them directly from motorbikes for $6. )
Luxor - the trip takes 3.5 hours one way. Be sure to specify which bus will be. I kind of stipulated this issue, as I was sure that a big tourist would be lucky.

But a Toyota minibus (14 seats) came for us. They didn’t refuse already, because they got up at 5 in the morning and tuned in, but it was not very convenient to go: there was not enough space and you couldn’t warm up in the aisle. Yes, and there would probably be more confidence in the driver of a large bus, since it was dark to return back, and a couple of times the bus driver drove like a young Schumacher. Therefore, if the issue of price is determined by the difference in the bus, it is better not to save on this trip. The Karnak temple is amazing, but because of the heat, they didn’t get full pleasure, as they constantly hid in the cold. After the temple, check in to a papyrus shop (+ that I finally understood how papyrus is made). Crossing the Nile River on a boat, lunch (included in the price, but drinking for a fee - $ 3 for a can of Cola, Sprite or water / take it better with you /) and a trip to the "alabaster factory" (souvenir shop). Both in the papyrus store and in the “factory”, prices are sky high.
The story about the handmade souvenirs makes you smile, as all the shops are full of all this stuff. Then a trip to the valley of the dead queens and descent into their tombs. Absolutely ugly place, expected much more. Memories are stone, heat and thirst. After that, they offer either to cross the Nile by bus, or a boat trip (boat) and an excursion to Banana Island (price - $ 10 per person). Feel free to agree, one of the great memories and pleasures is a walk along the Nile. The island is so-so, a small banana grove. But the views are very beautiful and, in addition, they overate on bananas and watermelon.

Shopping.
The hotel is full of shops, but you have to bargain for a stingy nun for a holy candle. Reasonable price - 30-50% of the original. We went to the shopping center Senso Mall. Very close to the hotel. We were not particularly interested in anything, we just bought strawberries ($1/kg) and guava ($0.8/kg).
For souvenirs and other textile purchases, we went to the shops that are located along the street in front of the Dana Hotel (where the hotel is taken to the beach). Having traveled by bus during the day, you will understand everything and in the evening 10 minutes and you are already there.

Jungle Park Water Park & Hotel

The hotel is part of the Pickalbatros Hotels & Resorts network (according to the reviews of vacationers in other hotels of this network in Hurghada, everyone is satisfied with their hotels), which also includes the neighboring Jungle Park, on the territory of which there is an excellent water park. Having prepared for the trip (having read the reviews), I immediately went to the reception with a demand to give free tickets to the water park. I was politely answered not quite in Russian, but I realized that my tour operator (TEZ TOUR) does not provide such a service, but some others do. I did not investigate further, and in the evening, walking with my family and exploring the territory of the hotel, without knowing it, we ended up on the territory of Jungle Park.
Past these cottages along the fence or bypass the cottages and along the football field (tennis courts) we go towards the Jungle, cross the paved road with a smart look and immediately find ourselves in the territory of the Jungle. There, between the cottages, along the pool we go to the Aquapark. The water park has a central entrance for guests from other hotels (for money), but we go as Jungle residents. However, for their own there are three passages through the canal that encloses the territory of the water park, on each of which sits a bored "security" . Here the main thing is to merge with the crowd and without standing out (taking off your bracelet or covering it - they are very striking in their color, it is better without them) we go to the territory of the water park. It doesn't matter what bracelet you wear - enjoy the slides (from 10-00 to 17-00).
The bar in the water park is only for vacationers - therefore, either with you, or with an impudent look (without a bracelet, a security guard is sitting) to a cola sprite pour, or for money in a cafe near the main entrance to the water park. I just received tremendous pleasure from such penetration and free use of the water park.

RESULT: The whole family is delighted with the holiday in Egypt and specifically in Alf Leila Wa Leila.
The level of the hotel is a solid five. Would I recommend this hotel to my friends - definitely! ! ! !
