I flew to Shedvan Golden Beach from 28.11. 11 to 8.12. 11 from Kyiv, one, for 460 USD. e. tour operator Anex-tour. I must say right away that the weather was not very lucky. The wind was blowing almost all the time, the air was +22-24, the water was +20-21, the evenings were pretty cool (last year it was at the same time, the weather was super) To the tour operator without any complaints, they fulfilled all their obligations, the guide at the hotel is sane. We were brought to the hotel at about 8 am, settled somewhere at 10 am. While waiting for check-in, I explored the territory (large, green, well-groomed, clean), had breakfast, talked with other tourists. The main contingent of tourists from the CIS countries, as well as Poles, Germans, a few French and British. Lived in building number 3. Standard room: comfortable bed, large spacious closet, TV, fridge, balcony. Large bathroom with hot water all the time. Confused only by the size of the so-called shower stall, which is fenced off with a curtain, well, oh. . . very small. If you are over 90cm. it is difficult to turn around in it. Cleaned like-would every day, but somehow not very noticeable. Bed and towels changed daily. If you are traveling with small children, then I do not advise you to settle in the third building, the evening animation will not let you fall asleep until 12 at night, everything else is acceptable. Beaches (there are several) for every taste, full of sunbeds, very cool slides on the central beach, a good playground. 2 pools. The pool near the reception is cold, at least during my stay. The second one is much nicer. There are bars on all beaches and near the pools. A set of drinks is standard for Egypt, you can choose something. From 12 o'clock in the bars you can also have a bite to eat. The food in the main restaurant was pretty decent. For lunch and dinner, there were always 2 types of soups, meat-chicken and beef in different preparations. as well as fish (which could not help but surprise in the top three), side dishes are standard for Egypt, there were practically no salads, only separately chopped vegetables, which personally suited me very much. From fruits: melon, tangerines, oranges, apples, grapes a couple of times. Very tasty treats and bread. I didn't try the desserts, but there were plenty of them. For breakfast, scrambled eggs, pancakes, muesli, etc. From alcoholic wine and beer, chilled drinks, tea and coffee. Animation in the hotel is present, whoever wants to have an active rest will find something to do. Disco every evening. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Khurkhada. You can get to the center (Sheraton Street) or to a new city (Sakala) by taxi for 1.5-2 USD. e. It is better to negotiate the price before getting into a taxi. Not far from the hotel (landmark-Christian temple) there is a fruit market. I bought a pomegranate and a melon there, about 5 cu. e. mango-2u. e. , figs, strawberries. peach 1 st. e. for 1kg. There are also shopping streets nearby, where traditional Egyptian goods are cheaper than at the Sheraton. The staff at the hotel are pleasant and not pushy. The result is this: all 10 days of rest I was tormented by the question: Why the hell did I go all the time in fives, having heard enough nonsense that it was impossible to rest in threes in Egypt, and overpaid 2 or even more times, when for quite nice money I had a SUPER-EXCELLENT rest, I received a lot of positive impressions and absolutely did not feel deprived in something. And the money saved on this trip not only warms the pocket and soul, but also gives hope to visit Egypt again and possibly again to Shedvan. Have a nice holiday everyone.
