We stayed at this hotel for New Year and Christmas 2011.
There are pros and cons.
Pros: beautiful grounds, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. Our windows overlooked the city, with tightly closed windows the street does not bother at all, a good location.
Of the minuses: the organization of the new year and Christmas for 2!! ! A very weak animation program, queues for food for at least 40 minutes, as well as for alcohol, sat in a tent on a sandy floor covered with carpets. Those who came in high heels regretted it - the carpets were folded into large folds, EVERYONE constantly stumbled over them (imagine, you are walking with a plate of goodies... ).
Very loud music, crowds of people... like a flock of sheep in a paddock. Absolutely not worth the money paid!!!

The hotel is shabby: the door to the bathroom in the room did not close, because from time to time and constant dampness it deformed, on the very first day one of the switches broke, one of the light bulbs above the bed did not light, the hood in the bathroom did not work, because of this, when taking a shower, the sauna with zero visibility and dampness, the shower cannot be removed, it pours only from above and at random (into the wall), there is no pallet as such, just part of the floor is fenced off with tiles, everything is covered in fungi from dampness. We didn't dare to stand there barefoot.
Towels were changed only 2 times, the bed was the same, although it was written that every day.
I was surprised and upset that in this hotel they are stingy with vegetables and fruits - in order to get 2 pieces of tomatoes and cucumbers, you have to stand in line, and STRICTLY for 2 pieces. The same story with cheese and sausage in the morning. (For comparison, we were at the Elysses 3 * hotel, there were no problems with this, although the hotel was lower level). There are few fruits - only dates and tangerines cut into 2 parts. Bananas have only been seen a couple of times, and even then cut into pieces.
There is only one pool, not heated. For a 4 * hotel there should be more than one, one must be heated. There is a bar in the room, but you can open it for a fee.
I was pleased that there were 3 Russian TV channels: Russia, First and musical RuTV.
