For the second time in a year we were in the Albatros hotel chain. And the second time did not regret and were very pleased with the rest. In this hotel, more than half of the holidaymakers for the New Year are Germans and Swiss. Therefore, the common denominator of tourists is polite, calm, measured and intelligent people.

1. Check-in / check-out. All perfectly. Check-in was after lunch, so I can't say anything about early check-in. For 5 dollars at the reception (which I consider obligatory in any case in any situation) they gave me a room in the central building, absolutely new and clean, spacious and comfortable. Departure was at 6 pm, the rooms were handed over at half past one, everything else - upon departure. Bracelets, of course, are not cut off, this comes to mind only in second-rate hotels, to which Albatross does not apply.

2. Nutrition. Excellent five plus. But no frills, of course. For for 600 bucks for a tour per person in NG it is difficult to expect lobsters on the tables.
Restaurants and bars are open from 4 am (early breakfast) to midnight (late dinner). One bar (coffee) is open 24/7. There are many restaurants, the variety of food choices is huge, the opening hours are arranged so that there is always something to eat, nothing ever ends. All at a very high professional level. The staff is hardly visible but they are everywhere, very fast and on time. Lots of choice of diet food, steamed, baked, not just the standard grill. Lots of veal, turkey, duck, fish, squid, etc.

3. Numbers. Everything is perfect.
4. Cleaning. Here was the only moment that surprised me a little compared to the perfect service in everything else. Once the laundry did not manage to cope, and the towels were not changed, but simply taken away from the room. Everything. And it so happened that in the afternoon it was necessary after the beach for the whole family to take a shower and go to Hurghada. I had a great ride around the hotel, after 15 minutes I found one towel at the cleaner, then after a claim at the reception, after an hour and a half they brought a couple more. The rest are late in the evening. But given the 100% occupancy of the hotel at this time, this can also be understood.
5. Territory. Small but cute. You won’t walk much, but for 5 bucks a taxi from the hotel to Hurghada, and a 15-minute walk from the hotel is Senzo Mall, where you can climb if it’s very boring to sit in the hotel.
6. Beach. Great. Sandy entry, depth almost immediately, there are lone corals at the bottom with fish, but this is not Charm, of course. The bay is absolutely closed from waves and winds. There is enough space for everyone and always, there were no problems with this, even when the hotel was full at that time.
General conclusion: we definitely recommend for a quiet, pleasant stay among pleasant tourists (families, couples). Especially given the relatively low price for this level of hotel.
