I want to leave my negative review about the rest in Egypt, in Hurghada, namely in the Hotel Continental ( Egypt, Red Sea Governorate, Hurghada Continental Hotel Hurghada 5 *)
My husband and friends chose a ticket to Egypt. Reading the reviews and seeing photos from the hotel on the Internet, we all thought that it was not bad and chose this particular hotel.
Bearing in mind that we just got married and as a honeymoon we liked this option. First coastline, sandy beach and beautiful sea nearby. Friends supported us (they are also a young married couple). And we all went to this country together.
Arriving at the airport, we were met by a guide from JOIN Up.
The hotel is close to the airport. So the journey took 15-20 minutes.
We were at the hotel at 6.00 am. Having taken swimsuits and shorts with us in advance, we left our suitcases and went for a swim in the sea.
Because the check-in was only at 14.00.

We had indicated in the sea view or pool view + ticket that we were just married.
They gave us rooms, but they did not correspond at all to those indicated in the ticket. They were opposite each other. It was Villa. She was further from the sea. So our friends had separate beds. They are a family and naturally they wanted one bed. To all our requests at the reception, we were told that there were no available rooms. Although the occupancy of the hotel was not 100%. We didn't go for one day. But there was no result. They smiled, not sincerely, as if they were mocking us. It was not very pleasant.
But somehow we reconciled. (Looking ahead, we later found out that in our Villa they settled ONE girl in a room with a double bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! )
There was no water in the room at first. As soon as we told the guide a day later she appeared.
Room cleaning is disgraceful. Leaving for tea you will get the same result as without tea. Dirty.
Food at the Continental Hotel Hurghada 5 * is the same and not tasty. In mashed potatoes, I found a cellophane wrapper.
Having told the waiter about it, he took it away and did not even apologize. Nothing followed...
The reusable plastic cups at the bar are just awful. It was impossible to drink from them. Only through a straw.
About the beach, I can say that it was clean and tidy. But since there was a small port nearby on our last days of rest, the wind brought garbage to us, the rescuers quickly removed it. It pleased.
But the attitude towards us was very bad. Having asked for guava juice, the bartender (if you can call it that) poured us an orange one. To which we answered him, "we asked for another juice, " he said, "it's not there. " But then a German woman came up and poured her guava juice. Yes, this is a trifle, but these trifles have accumulated a lot.
In the bar, we once started talking and did not follow the time and went to order a beer, but it was 23.10.

To which the waiter in a very rude manner told us "sit down or pay" and pointed to the clock. After all, it was possible to say this in a normal way and without rudeness.
I won't even write about the guide. A person who should help, but in fact only deceived ....
The Internet, obviously, they do not provide at all. There was no network at all. Even in the hotel lobby the network was very poor.
On our last day, rudeness crossed all boundaries.
Our flight was at 21:50.
We were supposed to be picked up at 6:30 pm.
Check-out at 12.00
The guide told us that they can feed us at lunch.
But we handed over the bracelets at 12.00. We wrote to the guide to which he did not even answer us. Naturally, we were not fed. We wanted to find some compromise with them at the reception, on which we were asked to continue the room for 70 euros until 16.00, since we have "all inclusive" and they cannot leave bracelets.
And the fact that after 12.00 they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for us, and if something does not bother us, then what would we look for another hotel. You, of course, forgive me, but this is a disgrace.
And at 18.00 we found out that for some guys they extended the number until 18.00 and they didn’t take the bracelets for $ 3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But that is not all.
A minibus arrived (not a bus because they obviously decided to save money) and our luggage was loaded onto the roof of this minibus. The Arab who loaded it all sloppily loaded these suitcases by the handles (for which we carry the suitcase) and loaded them up!!!!! ! The guide all the way to the airport insistently offered to buy black cumin oil from him, who has not yet bought it !!! ! Rave!
Arriving at the airport, the husband discovered that the wheel of the suitcase was missing. This ARAB pulled it out completely. THERE IS A PHOTO. I began to demand that he find it. He found. But what happened then had to be seen with my own eyes. Guide or I don’t know what to call this person, he just froze without trying to solve his own cant. Runs into the bus and just leaves.

We and our friends will never go on such trips again thanks to such service and such "guides" who simply run away from their direct duties.
From now on we will choose more carefully places for our holidays.
And about the suitcase, Join Up, I want you to make amends. It was a new suitcase! Because your uneducated guide threw us.
Continental Hotel Hurghada 5* and travel agency JOIN UP SELECT MORE PROFESSIONAL GUIDES! To make your guests feel at least safe!!!!!!

The guide did not warn us about this and did not give us the slightest information about the departure, while consultants warned us even in the Duty Free store!
We ask you to take action regarding this person who has not been held responsible for people who are in a foreign country.
