Rested with my wife at Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort 20-27.09. 2014. SETTLEMENT (numbers). 4 points out of 5 points can be put quite.

SEA AND BEACH - THE MOST IMPORTANT!! ! This is what my wife and I came to the Red Sea for!! ! If you need a chic meal and a stunning hotel - you don't need to go anywhere. Find it in your city - it will definitely cost less than Egypt : ) There were always enough places on the beach at the hotel, we went swimming 2-3 times a day - almost always we had a place on the first line (without pre-booking sun loungers with old slippers, towels and scarves, which is what our post-Soviet brethren suffer from). It's a shame, somehow, for people from the former USSR. By the way, according to the rules of the hotel, beach booking is prohibited, a fine of 10 Euros : )
The entrance to the sea is pure sand. The bottom of the sea is sandy, no beach slippers are needed. After 20 meters from the shore - already "up to the neck, then the depth goes sharply down. You swim 40 meters from the shore, you look down as if from the 4th-5th floor of the building. At the bottom you can see the smallest pebbles, corals, fish of different colors, so be sure to take a mask with a snorkel, otherwise you will miss a lot of interesting things. The travel agent told us that there are good corals in the neighboring hotel, you can swim there for free (without taking sun loungers) - we didn’t even go there, we had enough of our own. In a word, the water is very salty, clean, in September it is cool and very pleasant for both adults and children (I think somewhere +25 degrees). There are no big waves and foam, as in the Crimea. We talked with one woman who was 5 times in Egypt, in Greece, somewhere else there - such a beach and the sea as in Sunrise Royal Makadi she has never seen anywhere else!! ! He personally examined the beaches and territories of 3 hotels to the right and 3 to the left of Sunrise Royal Makadi, the territories and architecture come across very, very good, but the beaches everywhere are MUCH "weaker" than in Su nrise Royal Makadi. It's like in the Sea of Azov: you walk knee-deep from the coast to Turkey itself, until you reach the depth : ) Sunrise Royal Makadi is for all ages and tastes. Here I will rate 5 +++ (on a five-point scale).
