Among the 3 hotels offered by the travel agency, we chose Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort 5 *, and we do not regret a single minute. All liked it. I rested in Egypt for the third time, so I compared it with previous hotels. We arrived at the hotel in the evening, they brought us wet towels, drinks. They took the passports and vouchers, while the documents were being processed, the representative of the tour. The operator gave a short tour of the hotel. We settled in building 11. The room is clean, everything is in order. Reception view from the balcony. Near the playground, water park and the main restaurant. Not very far to the sea. The territory is very big, beautiful and well-groomed. Gardeners work day and night. Lots of pools for both adults and kids. The food is very good and varied. The kids enjoyed the free ice cream. The service of the hotel staff is top notch. The restaurant will always help you find a free table, near the room they were interested in how the Internet works. On the beach, they helped carry drinks and towels to the sunbeds. Always friendly and smiling. My daughter liked the animation, both in the evening and on the beach (foam disco). The only thing I didn’t like was that on the very first day in the morning the representative of the Anex tour gathered everyone and instead of the promised 10 minutes, more than an hour very intrusively offered excursions. We have not yet had time to see the sea and the hotel, we arrived only for 7 days. And we are persistently told, I quote "that a tourist who came to Egypt and was not on excursions had problems with his head. " Excuses that we are not in Egypt for the first time and have already been on excursions do not work. In addition, almost all VIP excursions are advertised (a yacht for 10 people, a trip to Luxor or Cairo by car). Of course, I understand that this is their income, but to push it so much is too much. Among the tourists there are a lot of locals, Czechs, Germans. The sea, as always, is very beautiful, warm, the entrance is good, there are always enough free sunbeds, no matter what time they come. My family really liked the hotel, I will recommend it to my friends.
