Gorgeous sea, good water park. Weak internet, old rooms and furniture.

We just arrived from the hotel and immediately sat down for a “review”, so as not to forget or miss anything.
So, rested as a family of 2 adults and two children (3 and 6 years old). From 27.06. 17 to 09.07. 17. We flew via Anex Tour, AzurAir airlines. The flight there was delayed for an hour, otherwise there were no problems. The flight (who does not know) takes 4 hours. The time difference is 1 hour. There is only tea, coffee and water on the plane. Visa in Egypt $25 per passport. The road to the hotel is about 30 minutes. We arrived at the hotel at 19.00. Refreshments were offered in the lobby. It took about 30 minutes to set up and wait. We were placed in building 23. We booked a Standard room (2 + 2). Since before the trip we had already read the reviews and knew which building was good and which was not, we were immediately upset, realizing that our room would be far from everything (the main restaurant, children's pools, slides, an amphitheater, and even the sea, because the because there is no direct path to it, but you need to bypass buildings 22 and 19).
They immediately tried to change the building, but we were upset that there were no free rooms and they would only be released in a day. We decided to go to the room and see how far the building is and what the room is like. Yes, the building was far away (although we took a stroller and a scooter with us), we still understood that daily walking to the canteen, to the sea, to the slides would tire both the children and us. The room was even more disappointing. It was a small room with two single beds and a single rollaway bed (there were 4 of us). Towels, soap accessories, water were designed for two. The room had a shower, kettle, tea accessories, safe, mini bar. The chairs on the balcony were terribly dirty (at first they thought they were wet, they turned out to be greasy). The husband again went to the reception desk, tried to change the room (they offered money), but to no avail, there are NO rooms! But they promised to relocate to building 12 in 2 days. We were left to wait.

Combined three beds together (photo attached). A potty for the baby was brought on demand. After a couple of minutes, a compliment from the hotel was brought to the room, it melted our hearts a little. The view from the balcony was on a beautiful lawn with palm trees and lights. We went to dinner, and were even more upset, the food seemed to be small, the choice was small, the people were dark (mostly Arabs), they could not feed the children. But later they realized that they were at dinner already before closing, and therefore there were “leftovers” left from the food. At night, they turned on the watering of the garden (although we read from other reviews about smelly water), but we did not expect that the “aroma” was so creepy. Well, the most "fun" thing happened in the morning, when I found my children completely bitten by mosquitoes. They found about 10 of them in the room. Later they realized that when the “sprinklers” were turned on, mosquitoes appeared. Be careful.

The next day, the mood began to rise little by little.
The slides, the sea, the beach did their magic… Two days later we were moved to building 12. The building is ideally close to the restaurant and to the slides and to the sea. We were also satisfied with the room. The room is large, divided into 2 parts, one had two beds, the other had a folding double sofa (where the children slept). The bathroom has a full bath. This room was already designed for three.

Well, now in more detail on the points.
Rooms. As I described above, they were not satisfied with the room in building 23, but in building 12 the room was after repair, more spacious and cleaner. The room is minimalist. Two paintings were placed over the beds (same, smiled). Cleaning in the room for 5+, it feels like they cleaned it with soul. Every day new figurines, the children ran to the room to see what they would please today. Many thanks to the hotel and room-cleaner for this. By the way, there are no dryers in the rooms on the balconies, there is a stretched one in the bathroom, but it is terribly inconvenient to dry things there.
There was a puddle of washed bathing suits, we still had to hang them on the balcony (backs of chairs, balcony railings or a rope that we thought of taking with us). There was no ashtray in the first room, they used a paper cup. The next day, after cleaning the room, they found the same glass on the table, but already empty and washed. We laughed for a long time (they didn’t think of giving an ashtray).

Territory. Huge, green, well-groomed. But, as other vacationers have noticed, very "fragrant" water, which is used to water the grass in the evenings.

Gorki. There are two types, for toddlers and adults. Of the 4 children, only 2 always worked. The work schedule is 10-12.00 and 15-17.00. The elder child adored the slides. No claims. Solid 5.

The pool bars (near building 10) and the beach bar close at 17.00. Have time to stock up on liquid in advance. Life around the pool ends after about 17.30. At sea after about 18.30.

Animation. There are two feelings here.
It is there, the guys are obviously trying, but something is not right ...Apparently the heat is affecting them, they are tired, everything is strained, without sincere emotions. Thanks to the animator Elena, who was always interested in the mood and helped in troubleshooting. Show programs a couple of races looked, seemed rather weak. Visitors got used to the show programs, but here, basically, the animators themselves “work”. "Wow" was not. We watched a fire show, a dance of a guy in a skirt, tricks ...everything was 4k. There was a foam party, but also not organized. Everyone was herded into some kind of “corral”, the children were almost trampled, the sand was terribly hot at first, and then terrible porridge under their feet. They ran away from there, they came in an hour later, and there were fewer people and it was not so scary for the children. But the meaning of the "corral" was not understood.

Mini disco for three. It is very hot in the amphitheater, there is little space on the stage, the children are afraid of falling. The repertoire of songs and dances is small, a bit old. After the mini disco, the children are bored, because.
After the mini disco, the children are excited and energetic. Last year we were in Turkey, where, after a mini disco, the children were taken to an open cinema, they handed out juice and popcorn. It was very convenient, parents could get a little distracted and watch a show or sit in a bar. Here we had to entertain the kids ourselves or go home. I don't think so...

Miniclub. We didn’t, we don’t know, although we chose a hotel with a mini-club, the child loves all sorts of quests, competitions, but it didn’t “gone”. Came a couple of times, the club was closed. And he works for a couple of hours in the morning, just when we were on the beach and in the afternoon, when the slides work and all the children are there. In general, we leave the item without evaluation ...For children there is a playground under a canopy. The playground is ordinary, the children got bored after 10 minutes.

Nutrition. General restaurant. Same vague feeling. We are not picky about food, there seems to be a lot of food, but most of the food is not of our European cuisine.
My favorite potatoes in any form were not cooked, undercooked, mashed with raw large lumps. Pasta tastes nothing like ours. Sausages, sausages, cheeses, everything else. The children were difficult to feed. Everything is very greasy. As a result, out of 4 members of our family, three suffered from stomach problems. Also, another vacationing family had health complaints (of a child and an adult). Stock up just in case with Linex or nifuroxazide. But there are always chefs walking around the restaurant checking the temperature of the food. It can be seen that they are monitoring the quality, but apparently interruptions happen. And we also came to the conclusion that it is better to come to the restaurant at the beginning of the opening, more choice of products. Fruits are always the same (grapes, melons, apples, bananas, oranges), once we had time for a watermelon. Bakery. At first glance, there seems to be a large selection. But every day (trying a little everything), you understand that everything is the same type. But there was always something delicious.

Staff.
Very friendly, kind, responsive. Claims were only to the bartender on the beach (always had a displeased expression on his face), but after our little "sneak" to the animator Elena, a smile appeared on his face and the Egyptians loved "how are you? ". He was sometimes replaced by the bartender Hussein, here he is smart. Thank you for listening to vacationers and solving problems. We would like to mention the bartenders in the Lobi bar Islam and Hussein, who are always friendly and sociable. Nice lifeguards on the beach, we want to mention Ramsay.

Contingent. In the first days of our arrival, the hotel "swarmed" with Arabs. We personally didn't like them. In the dining room, the children did not just sit on the tables (as other vacationers wrote), some even walked around the table. They were big noisy companies. After them, garbage and dirt remained both on the beach and near the pools. Often noticed the bad manners of their children. The clothes of women (completely closed) embarrassed me personally to be in a regular swimsuit.
I observed their intent (as condemning) views on the open European swimsuits. By the end of our holiday, the Arabs had slightly decreased. The rest of the vacationers were Ukrainians, Belarusians, Germans, Czechs, Belgians (and, in question, the British and Poles).

Sea. This is the "lifeline" of the hotel! It is Divine. My child called it "jelly", and I picked up the word "velvet". It kind of hugs you nicely. The purest. Warm. Bottom sand, very smooth entry. Paradise for children. And after swimming a couple of meters to a depth of corals and beautiful fish. Leave your safety shoes at home and bring your masks and snorkels. By the way, at the entrance to the sea there is a strip of stone slabs, but in some places there are “gaps” where you can enter the sea without any problems. This didn't bother us at all.

Beach. Sun loungers can be found anywhere and anytime, although the hotel was said to be full.
But the sun loungers themselves are already a bit old, at the end of the holiday they saw how they replace the sun loungers with others (painted). Umbrellas with tables "cry" and require either renovation or repair.
Umbrellas on the beach and near the pool are not mobile, we had to turn the sun loungers during the day and change their places several times. Not enough on the beach "snack bar" or ice cream. It's a bit far to run to the bar to the restaurant in the heat. The kids had to take a "snack" from the dining room with them to the beach. The beach has a shower, toilet, bar, towel exchange.

There is WiFi throughout the territory, but it constantly turns off, you need to reboot. The speed is bad.

Ala Carta restaurants were not visited (they did not risk with small children). We did not go on excursions, we are waiting for the children to grow up a bit.
The flight was rescheduled 3 hours earlier. On the way to the airport, the bus took us to a sweet shop for 15 minutes. At the airport, before check-in, AnexTour wraps luggage in film for free.

The control at the airport is very cruel, everyone takes off their shoes and searches. All water in hand luggage is taken and thrown away. In front of me, from a woman, nail scissors were taken from a cosmetic bag and thrown away.
Summing up, I will say that we basically liked the hotel, for four. Most of all we were conquered by the sea. It is extraordinary. If for you the main criterion in the rest is the sea, then you are here!
