Очень скучный отель Very boring hotel

We rested in Egypt 4 times, so there was nothing to compare. Initially, we chose a hotel with good infrastructure, and so that the children had something to do (two girls 10 years old). Our company is 6 adults + 2 children. Upon arrival in Egypt, the circus began, the first thing that was unpleasant, insolently, they demanded $ 17 for a visa, some tourists tried to be indignant, they were taken to a separate counter and began a demonstrative procedure for examining personal belongings, in general, chaos. Operator "AneksTour" met without problems. Delivered to the hotel in 40 minutes. Settlement went quickly. The rooms are not bad, no frills, the equipment is old, another minus is very poor lighting in the rooms. The hotel is occupied by 70%, mostly Germans, British, Poles, French, about 200 people. was from Ukraine. Foreigners are mostly old people, after 60 years, as it seemed to us, of all the Egyptian hotels they chose this one, because there is nowhere to go, there is no entertainment, there are few young people, so the old people light up. The food is acceptable, but monotonous, there is a problem with fruits, all 10 days they were fed unripe melons and oranges. The territory is really huge, clean, but there is practically no greenery, which is a huge minus for such a hotel. The beach is good, sandy, the entrance to the sea is convenient, the fish swim right at the shore. Very close to the coast there are small reefs, diving with masks, very beautiful, even small cuttlefish were seen. There are 5 pools, two heated in winter, a common pool with ice water, they wrote on the stands 12-14 degrees, none of the vacationers practically swam at all. In the evening there is practically nothing to do in the hotel, the so-called live music sucks, but the old ladies from Germany really liked it, they danced great... what a comparison with other hotels in Egypt, so if you come with children, get ready to entertain them yourself... Evening shows brought two good dance groups, one from Brazil, the second from Ukraine, performed well, and on other days local entertainment was at the animation level hotels 3+. There is no place to leave the hotel at all, there is construction debris all around, it takes 40 minutes to drive to Hurghada, so once we walked along the coast. The picture is generally gloomy, the nearby hotels are closed, there are no vacationers, the beaches are not cleaned, garbage is everywhere, a terrible sight...
In general, it’s good that we went with a big company, entertained ourselves, so we can say that we had a good rest. The overall picture is this: Hotel not higher than 4+, Beach 5+, Food 4+, Housekeeping 5+, Territory 3+, Staff 4-, Animation -10!! !
