We rested as a couple in late April to May 1st.

Tour operator TEZtour, Windrose airline, there are no delays with flights either there or back.

Settlement
We arrived at the hotel at about eleven in the morning, they said to wait until two o'clock until the rooms were vacated and they were cleaned.
The bracelets were put on right away, you can use the services of the hotel and eat right away.
Suitcases all stand in the fresh air right in front of the main entrance to the adm. building. The room was given around 14, we managed to have lunch already and visit the beach.
At first they gave building 29, it seemed to be on the outskirts near the wall enclosing the hotel territory, we refused, asked to be closer to the restaurant and the sea,
after some hesitation, they offered the 38th building, supposedly the newest. He also did not suit us with his distant location and again with a wall,

although the reception was convinced that he was the best : ) As a result, we begged for the 26th building, which suited us perfectly.
They didn’t give money, they managed with their perseverance : )

Number
Was on the 1st floor, you could climb over the balcony instead of walking through the door : ) Everything is clean, everything worked, except for the table lamp.
There were minor breakdowns in the form of a broken hook in the bathroom for towels, and everything seemed to be.
The safe worked perfectly, but there was no button with the number "5" on the keyboard to enter the code, and since our password did not contain it, we were not sad about it.
At the end of the holiday, leaving an open bag of food, we found a path of local ants, not even a path, but a whole busy highway.
The room was cleaned daily, towels were changed, but there was no bed linen, it was just covered and that's it.
We left tips several times, sculpted swans and even once a crocodile : )) In general, there were no complaints about the cleaning of the room, not counting the non-replacement of bed linen.
Hot water was around the clock without interruption. In recent days there have been a few power outages throughout the hotel.

The hotel itself
At first, it gives a modest impression, but it is deceptive.
The small number of storeys of the buildings (1-2-3-4) and the fact that they are not built close to each other is definitely a plus.
There is a feeling of spaciousness, and not being among the bulks that put pressure on vacationers along the perimeter.
Many lawns, flower beds, one pavilion for, apparently, once married, concrete sculptures of bizarre shapes, tennis courts, a gym, an amphitheater with a repeating weekly show program for every day.
People in the hotel were somehow evenly distributed, there was no feeling of fullness, probably due to the large territory.
There is where to walk, you can safely go for a walk on the territory of neighboring hotels.
The territory is looked after around the clock, everything is very neat, although a small water cascade was under repair during our stay.

As for the contingent of vacationers - a hodgepodge of Russians, Ukrainians, Poles, Germans, French, there were also English-speaking comrades from Eastern Europe (they did not recognize the language).

Beach
Sand, stones and shells are not seen. The entrance to the water is very gentle, the water is clear, but in the evening its purity is slightly spoiled.
boats and yachts actively cruising from the surrounding berths to the left and to the right.
And again, the first impression that the enclosed sea is not enough for swimming is deceptive, it is quite enough for a swim,
if you reach the buoys, turn around and swim along the coast line. Within the fence there is a small reef with fish!
Sunbeds had to be borrowed early in the morning, at 5-6 am local time. In principle, even at 9 am it was possible to find free ones, but in the last row from the sea.
And so in the early hours, the second line of sunbeds from the sea was almost all to choose from : )
It was straining to get up so early, they compensated by sleeping in the afternoon.
Although on the other side of the clock from 7-8 in the morning is the time for sun exposure, and the restaurant opened for breakfast as early as 7,
after 9 in the morning it became already hot, we hid in the shade and left the beach at 11.
After lunch, we went to the beach for literally an hour and a half, on the same sunbeds - we just left beach towels and a bottle of water, a magazine, pareo ...
Nobody took anything. The sun sets early - at 17-30 he is no longer on the beach, shade.

Nutrition
We went to two main restaurants and 6 a la carte restaurants.
Also, when traveling on an excursion to Luxor, they were fed lunch in a restaurant of one of the hotels in the city center on the banks of the Nile.
They fed excellently. It was enough for just a few visits, and meat, and side dishes, and salads, and desserts ...
In the mornings there were pancakes, and scrambled eggs, and omelettes, and toast, and cereals, and sliced cheeses and sausages.

It was always possible, after having lunch or dinner in one of the main restaurants, to take a walk to the second main restaurant (Around the World), but usually they ate so much that there was no desire to visit another restaurant.
At lunch, it was tense with the first courses, for the most part because of the love of our tourists for borscht-soups.
Those who entered the restaurant first formed a small queue near them, but it soon disappeared and it was free to take first courses.
As soon as they ended, after a couple of minutes they brought new ones for distribution.
Also, the local interpretation of pizza diverged very quickly, but its stocks were updated after some time.
There were meat dishes in the form of different types of chicken, beef, fried, stewed, grilled, etc.
There were fish dishes, even crabs with shrimps, grilled partridges. There are a lot of vegetables, greenery is immeasurably different. Whatever, the food at the hotel is excellent.
There were problems with fruit - and oranges, and tangerines, and apples were not the very first freshness (not rotten, but not just plucked) and dispersed very quickly.
Once there was a strawberry, not tasty. There were bananas, apricots, greenish apricots.
From a la carte were almost all. There is nothing to do in the Bedouin (the menu is rather poor and the atmosphere is somehow non-Bedouin) and in the Mexican - only for lovers of spicy dishes,
even in Asian there were rolls of incomprehensible shape and size, all for one taste, and Italian, Mediterranean and t-bones pleased!
Before going on an excursion to Luxor, we ordered "dry rations" at the reception, everything was prepared and given out by 4 o'clock in the morning without any problems.
Packaged juices are not a problem, they didn’t drink any “yupis”, they opened boxed juices in front of us and poured them out to everyone who was thirsty, like at bars by the beach / pools,
and in restaurants, but fresh juices are only paid - 3 dollars or 3.5 euros a glass.
Water was put in the mini-bar in the room, you can also take it in any hotel bar in a 0.6l bottle.
Discrimination in service by waiters and bartenders was not noticed, although they left little tips.

Almost everyone understands Russian, and those who do not understand speak English tolerably.
From alcohol they drank local beer for testing - normal, red wine is almost all sour, white can be drunk, but in the Mediterranean and Italian a la carte it came across tastier.

Tours
We took one excursion to Luxor from the TEZtour guide (the whole day from early morning until late evening),
to her bonus was a trip to the "Thousand and One Nights. " I liked Luxor, although it was tiring all day in the heat (it was +40 in the shade),
and for "A Thousand and One Nights", if there was a paid one, we wouldn't go, it's not worth it, at a very fast pace the delivery of tourists to the venue,
a "run" through the shopping arcade with a run to the mini-museum, then a show program in Russian in the spirit of an express course in the history of Egypt, and again at a brisk pace, the road to the buses to go back to the hotels.

Of the minuses
1) SMELL! The territory of the hotel, more precisely, the grass and bushes are watered in the evenings with water with a clear enumeration of fertilizers (sorry, with the brightest smell of manure).
Not the whole territory at once, of course, but some sections (as they are bypassed by a sprinkler in a rubber suit).
They had to quickly run through with bated breath.
When leaving, they told about this problem, promised to solve it.
2) Early capture of sun loungers on the beach. It seems that they are not enough for all vacationers, or about paid beach boys from more generous tourists (Germans? ).
In reality, at dawn, I had to run around throwing my things on the free sun loungers, then return to the room to wash my face and then go to breakfast and to the beach.
Moreover, a lot of people ran - just a marathon, whoever runs first and takes the best places : ) But we decided to take it as a kind of morning exercise in the form of a run
and don't feel negative emotions about it : )

Well, in conclusion, we can say - the hotel is worthy, we really liked it, Sunrise Makadi, we miss you! : )
