First time in Egypt. The rest turned out to be good, but we won’t go to Egypt anymore (not my country). The hotel is good, big territory, good rooms. We booked the main building with a sea view. So they gave it.

There is mini-golf (4 euros per person - round), tennis (1 hour per room for free), small tennis (4 dollars in my opinion an hour), volleyball, water polo, surfing (27 dollars / hour), pedalo, billiards ($8/hour). 3 restaurants: 2 of them - breakfast, lunch, dinner (main building), 1 of them - lunch, dinner (on the beach). The rest are paid. We went to a paid restaurant on the beach (closer to the lagoon), they wrote down 33 pounds (5 dollars) more on the account, and did not understand why. In mini golf they took an extra $2 from us, the explanation was this: "I will change dollars for euros (prices in euros), I will lose on the course", they gave it away, just not to get involved.

The staff is very good and friendly. Smile and you will be smiled.

The food is disgusting. Which is a huge downside.
I personally suffered from a stomach 7 out of 10 days. Very little choice. But it seems to me that this is how they are fed in all hotels in Egypt. Of the fruits were only oranges, melons and apples (alternated).

Disco, every day animation. The animation is not bad, but it is designed for 7 days, from the 8th day everyone repeats. There is a problem with sunbeds at the entrance to the sea. The beach is divided into 2 parts, one of which is for boats, water bikes and surfing. Swimming is prohibited in this area. Just opposite this part you can find free sunbeds. Those that are opposite the entrance to the sea in the bathing part, are engaged in towels for another 5 hours in the morning. The pool is big but cold. More or less warmed up only after dinner. There are corals near the shore, but they seem to be already half dead, although some fish swim. We went on 3 excursions: Bedouin, El Gouna and Bathyscaphe.

I highly recommend El Gouna (if you don't get seasick). In general, the hotel for 4 (only because of the food).
But you don't eat there?
Everything is relative. Personally, I compared with the Crimea (where they went as a savage), and Turkey, where I was last year. Le Meridian is better than both, but worse than the 2 of them in nutrition.

Get in a good mood, feel free to go on vacation, and then any hotel will be to your liking. There are minor flaws in any hotel, you just don't need to pay attention to them.
Have a nice rest!
