Vacationing with my son. After reading a lot of bad reviews on this site, we prepared for the worst, but we went with a positive attitude and did not try to look for something bad in the rest. There were downsides, of course, but they weren't significant.
Arrived at Hurghada airport at 3:20 am. We found our luggage, walked along the serpentine and went to the check-in counters. On the right, near the wall there are two booths - there the Egyptians issue visas for $ 25, they bought visas. Tip: it is better to buy visas in these booths, because at check-in counters a visa will cost a little more. Before leaving the airport, they sell SIM cards of Egyptian mobile operators. I advise you to immediately buy and activate a SIM card. Only 4 operators: etisalat, vodafone, orange and telecom Egypt. The prices for all are almost the same - 10 € for 20 GB. You can pay in both dollars and euros. After we left the airport building, we found out our number of the bus that took us to the hotel. On the way to the hotel, the travel agency worker Ahmed explained some points to everyone and said when we had a meeting with our hotel guide. Tip: write down the date and time and don't be late for your meeting with your guide, take all documents with you. The hotel guide resolves all issues and supervises you during your holiday.
We arrived at the hotel around 6 am. At the reception (administration desk) we were immediately told that they would give us a room after 14, and from 7 in the morning they would put on bracelets and we could have breakfast. Leaving the travel bag on the first floor of the hotel, we went to take pictures. Time flew by unnoticed, at 7 am we returned to the hotel at the reception, where we were put on bracelets and we went to have breakfast. After breakfast, we took swimming trunks, a mask and goggles from the bag and went swimming in the sea) After that, by 12-13 o’clock we had lunch and after dinner we were already given a key card to the room and 2 plastic cards with the hotel logo (one for me, the second for son). These cards could be used to borrow towels, tennis rackets, and so on.

Son's birthday. Immediately upon registration at the reception, we said that our son's birthday is July 29 and we would like to celebrate it in a festive way. We were told to go up to two animator girls Nastya and Nadia from 8 am, they will sign us up for a gala dinner. We signed up with them in an Egyptian a-la cart restaurant, where we really liked everything, the food turned out to be very tasty. The employees of this restaurant congratulated the son with drums, sang a song in Egyptian and, of course, congratulated the son with a birthday cake with candles.
So, a room in a hotel with the number 5343. I don’t know where all those who wrote negative reviews about the rooms were settled, probably in other buildings. In our tourist voucher it was written "Aquapark room 1 + 1". Our room was on the 4th floor in the 4-storey Cascada building near the water park, and not in the main hotel building. We liked the room. A bright, clean room with air conditioning, three beds, a bedside table, a telephone, 2 tables with 2 glasses and a jug, a large plasma TV (it was useless for us, we didn’t watch it), 2 table lamps, a huge closet with a personal free safe. A clean beautiful bathroom is combined with a toilet, everything looked like new, there is a large mirror on the entire wall, a hairdryer, there is even a working phone near the toilet) A balcony with a beautiful view, with two armchairs and a small table. Every day the room is cleaned (although it happened that the hotel employee who cleans the rooms on our floor asked us if our room should be cleaned or is it clean and can be cleaned tomorrow ? , so maybe not every day))). Snow-white towels and bedding are changed daily, two bottles of water, shower gel and shampoo are provided, and garbage is removed from the trash can. If necessary, you can ask for additional soap, shampoo, gel - they will give it without problems. During our stay there were no mosquitoes in this room.
Number cons. 1. The refrigerator is old, small, but working. Since we mainly used the refrigerator to cool bottles of water, juices and other drinks, it coped with this task quite well. 2. There is no brush in the toilet) Maybe they were not in all the rooms, I don’t know. 3. Very weak pressure of cold water, and there was no hot (or rather warm) at all (until we told our guide and he resolved this issue). 4. The main disadvantage of this room is that it was too far to go to the main hotel, and even more so to the sea in the heat. Of the minuses of the whole hotel, one can single out the fact that the laundry at the hotel is paid, to wash one thing (shorts or a T-shirt) - 0.5 euros. The soap in the room is very small, not enough for washing. So, if you plan to wash things, take laundry soap with you.
WiFi. Free Lobby Free Internet with a fairly good signal you can only catch on the first floor of the main hotel, on the second floor the signal is already weak, and outside the hotel building there is no signal at all. But a very good signal throughout the hotel at paid wi-fi - Tia Heights, which costs $ 7 per day. We bought an etisalat SIM card at the airport for $12, activated it already at the hotel by calling any toll-free number of this operator.

Nutrition. The main restaurant is Aladdin. As many have said, you won't go hungry. For lovers of sweets - this is paradise) For breakfast, lunch and dinner, they collected full plates of all kinds of cakes, cheesecakes, buns, cakes, pancakes, jelly, fruits (apples, melons, oranges, bananas, dates, lime, watermelons once). Sliced apples with melons were poured with black honey and sour cream with strawberry syrup was placed on top. Chicken, beef, fish, cheese, sausage, sausages are all delicious. All kinds of sauces, seasonings. The usual pasta, rice, potatoes, etc. were also there, but we never tried them) For breakfast, they usually took scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, pancakes with topping and sweets. We always took grilled chicken for dinner, once there were Egyptian sausages. For dinner, you can also sign up in advance (from 10-12 on the second floor) in A-la Carte restaurants: Egyptian, oriental, fish and Italian. Also on time in the bars you can try pizza, hot dogs, salads, ice cream. Alcoholic drinks, juices, soda, cola, sprite - at any time.
Aqua park is cool, big, a lot of different slides. We rode with my son on all the slides, on two of them we were even a little scared)
The gym is excellent. Visited only 2 times. There are many simulators for all areas of the muscles, there is a treadmill. There is a swimming pool next to the gym.
We played table tennis, we could also play minigolf, billiards, volleyball for free. There were also animation programs, dances, games, discos in the evenings.
The sea here is excellent, only because of it alone it is worth coming here. The sandy beach is gorgeous. There are colored corals (if you swim to the right towards the pier), a lot of different colored fish of different sizes. Be sure to bring your mask and snorkel with you. They fed the fish every day right from their hands, taking 1-2 boiled eggs for breakfast. Sea urchins are also present, hiding in corals. In the evening, like after 18, it is forbidden to swim, because. sea urchins and rays swim closer to the shore. After the sea, they swam in pools with perfectly clear water.
Excursions. We took the "Pirate Ship", "Safari" - we liked it very much. "Sand Museum + Aquarium" - not really. And a traditional study tour to Hurghada to buy souvenirs. There were also excursions to Luxor and Cairo, but they did not have enough rest days)
We really enjoyed our stay here, maybe we will come here again)
