Hi all. Rested in Egypt at the end of October 2011. The trip to Egypt was the second one. The first was 2 years ago - they celebrated the New Year at the Domina Hotel, so there is something to compare....
The hotel was chosen carefully, because. I was traveling with a 9 year old child. I wanted everything to be on the level. The hotel attracted a water park rebuilt in September - that was what we needed.
We flew out of Kazan on October 21 - flight time 4.50 - a little tired. Arrived in Egypt in the evening, at 20.00. At the airport, all customs procedures were surprisingly quickly passed, they were put into an Odeon company minibus. It took about 30 minutes to get to the hotel. At the reception, everything was arranged just as quickly and settled into rooms. Our room was booked in Holiday - next to the water park, building number 85 (we asked so). The room is decent - I updated the information - the hotel is completely renovated. But... in the shower, the hot water was a thin stream. The next morning I approached the representatives of the Odeon company and at the end of the day everything was fixed. The room was cleaned every day, towels were also changed every day, linen every other day. I did not leave a tip, because. I read before leaving that they clean the same way - with or without a tip. In general, the hotel has a very large territory and the residential buildings are divided into several sub-territories: the main building, the buildings of 20-30 rooms, the so-called Holidays, then the territory in the sands - the Dunes, and a bungalow near the sea....Each sub-territory has its own swimming pool and a bar. We did not go around the entire territory - and there was no need to. To the sea from our building walk min. 5-7 normal steps, if walking is annoying - small open cars drive around the hotel - they will bring you to any corner of the hotel... It turned out that in the morning we collected everything necessary for the sea (masks, snorkels, fins, swimwear, etc. . ) and did not return to the room until the evening. The territory is large, but very well-groomed, throughout the hotel lawn grass grows with a thick carpet, trees and bushes are intricately trimmed, there are flowers all around. Egyptians ennoble the territory all day long - they clean, shear, clean, water....

We were pleased with the food - my son is picky, it is very difficult to feed him, but in this hotel he found everything he needed....Every day there was a lot of meat - chicken, beef, lamb, fish in abundance, even for dinner every day they made something on the coals, they really pleased... A lot of vegetables, all kinds of salads, you could combine vegetables as you wish and season with different sauces. But with fruit it was a bit tight - except for oranges and apples, there was nothing else, although a couple of times they gave guava and melon. Drinks and wines were as usual for All incl. - Pepsi / Fanta / Cola - a common thing, juices (rather diluted powders) and local wines are not for everyone, but I found a solution for myself - they make excellent multi-colored alcoholic cocktails.
The animation works in full force - they don’t let you sit, they constantly come up with something, and in the evening they put on a real show - either a foam party, or magicians, or a theatrical performance. For those who rest with children - here is just a paradise! In the dining room (and there are several) there is a special room with children's tables, chefs make the children's menu varied, on the territory of a large adult water park for kids, a children's water park is organized with a mass of mini-slides, fountains, children's towns on the water. Also for the kids there are teachers-animators who completely occupy the child almost all day. A funny children's train rides around the hotel - rides everyone - both children and parents for free!
SEA! Ooh, that's a separate issue. The hotel is well located in the bay. the entrance to the sea is sandy, the beach too. The sea is warm, you don’t even want to go out (unlike the numerous cold pools). For lovers of the underwater world, there is also a place - right in the middle of the backwater there is an underwater island of corals - that's where you will see all the splendor of the Red Sea (even a bespontaneous excursion to an oriental boat trip cannot be compared with the beauties that we saw in our hotel - don't even waste your money on this trip - it's not worth it!!! ).
In general, the hotel is good. It is so expensive, but we waited for discounts to be on it and did not miss it! In general, you need to go on vacation on a positive note and then the vacation will be great! I wish you all good luck! !
