Hi all! Just returned from a holiday at Tia Heights Hotel. After an unsuccessful trip to Turkey (M. S. Aransia Beach Resort Hotel) last year, I made it a rule to leave reviews about hotels so that others can navigate, maybe it will come in handy for someone!
After we bought tickets to Tia Heights, we decided to read the reviews. It didn't matter to me, because several acquaintances rested in this hotel, and their impressions of the rest were very positive, and I have no reason not to trust their opinion.
But the relatives who went abroad with us for the first time were horrified. Therefore, I am writing for those who also decided to "consult the Internet. "
Our flights were successful both there and back. We arrived in Egypt at 12 o'clock local time, while we received our luggage, went through passport control, reached the hotel, it was already the second hour of the day, so they fed us right away, and then sent us to check in.

That was probably the only "cant" of the hotel. Since we had an "Aqua Park", at the reception on the second floor we were immediately given cards for beach towels, but we had to stand for a card from the room on the first floor for about two hours, as clouds of local "new" came to rest with us. Arabs" with the numbers of the desired rooms, and here, according to the principle of "fellowship", they were the first to inhabit them. Well, okay, in the end, and we did not stay on the street.
About the rooms: not a fountain, of course, everything is very ascetic, but clean. The plumbing worked, towels were changed every other day, the air conditioner cooled perfectly, even when we were not in the room, the refrigerator did not work, but we still had nothing to freeze, so it was not annoying. The TV was also not the first freshness, but since the vacation plans included the temporary weaning of the child from this "good of civilization", they explained to him that this miracle of technology could not work.
About food: breakfast always had pancakes, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, vegetables, pastries, fruit salad, cereals and balls (corn, chocolate, rice), milk vermicelli and rice porridge, so also children (12.9 and 4 years old) and we did not go hungry. For lunch and dinner there were always vegetables (fresh, stewed, steamed), soups (mashed potatoes, vegetables and even mushrooms), rice, spaghetti, potatoes, chicken, and, unlike Turkey, natural meat in all sorts of variations. Lots of pastries. Cons - bad wine and little fruit. But very tasty ice cream on the beach and on the second floor!
The territory is huge and well-groomed, but it can be seen even without comment, in the photo of the hotel. There is a "train", you can go around all the possessions and see.
Separate opinion about the beach. since we were traveling with a child and our relatives with two children, we chose a sandy beach and entry into the sea. The choice was not wrong. The water at the end of August was like in the bathroom, even my mother lay for an hour with an "asterisk". There are practically no waves, in general, super! For lovers of the beauty of the Red Sea - 50 meters away there are corals and their inhabitants (their location can be easily recognized by the number of people in tubes and masks).

From entertainment, we chose the aqua park (its visit was included in our daily afternoon rest), children's animation is not very good (again, who has something to compare with, relatives were there for the first time, the older child liked it), in the evening adults frolicked with local "dancers disco", but their musical accompaniment with national flavor did not cheer me up.
Of the excursions, we went with a child on a motorcycle safari on ATVs, we liked it, but there was not enough drive: there are a lot of places in good places, we could let people drive! Relatives took a bathyscaphe, they are also satisfied.
In general, if you are not spoiled by deluxe hotels and European civilization, if you are not too lazy to wipe the sweat from your forehead on the beach and flick a lighter, if you can do without champagne baths and oysters, then the hotel is very decent, and in comparison with other hotels in Turkey and Egypt, and in the opinion of tourists who have gone abroad for the first time!
