We rested this year from April 22 at LE MERIDIEN MAKADI BAY.

About the hotel, I won’t say that it’s perfect, it has its drawbacks (believe me, there is something to compare with : )) and it doesn’t pull on its 5 *, but you also pay for it the wrong money, like for Savoy 5 * : )

Let's start from the day of arrival. We drove from TEZ TOUR, everything was super, brought to the hotel, there were no delays. Here with the settlement there were small problems, we arrived at the hotel at 10 in the morning, and they did not want to accommodate us until 12. I saw a funny picture of how one tourist cursed at the reception that they arrived at 6 in the morning, the child was hungry, but they were not fed. Why do many people think that they are obliged to immediately settle. Sorry, but your tour is PAID from 12-00 on the day you arrive. And if you didn’t think of clarifying such trifles with your tour operator, then why not go pay for breakfast, which you don’t have to serve yet (as the Chinese did when they arrived) and feed the child and not give 20-30 dollars at the reception and get your room much earlier. In principle, we did just that, and while everyone was waiting for their numbers, we were already swimming in the sea.
We had rooms in the central building overlooking the sea, we initially paid for them from Kyiv (the buildings are clogged immediately in vouchers), quite spacious, comfortable. They were cleaned every day, I left a tip of 1 dollar, every two days.
Everything was cleaned, smoothed, super.
As for food, yes. There were queues to the restaurant, but if you come in an hour, there will be no queue. That is, it was necessary to come at the opening or much later, and I don’t see any problems with this either. We went in a big company, we always occupied a large comfortable table near the sofas, and the waiter served the same one. Again, do not be lazy and give him some tea sometimes. They even brought us green tea, which they don’t include in Allinclusive. And after 1 dollar, it will just fly near you. And the next time you don’t even have time to sit down, he will already be standing with a wine glass near you. The food is monotonous, but delicious. This time I realized that if you don’t take a little bit of everything, as everyone takes, but only one thing, then the food didn’t seem monotonous to me. The DUCK baked by them is generally a HIT, but with fruits it’s not enough, as in all of Egypt, in principle, this is not Turkey for you.
In general, the main thing is to smile more : )!!!! ! After all, people will treat you the same way you treat them.
Animation is a separate story. JUST SUPER, our time was just scheduled. The guys are great, they did a great job. In the morning we went to yoga, then to water aerobics, so the Latin dancers sometimes missed it, but tried to walk. After 16-00 belly dance began and immediately after it stepaerobics. This is more for women, and our men went to volleyball, butch, and something else there. It’s just that we were so busy that sometimes we didn’t notice where they disappeared. In the evenings, great performances, and then disco until the morning.

The sea was warm, the corals were beautiful, although not the ones in Sharm. I was strained by a slow and shallow entry into the sea, I am a pantone lover. And near our pantone there was just a coral. And for children, entering the sea is generally super, Azov is resting : )))
What I didn't like was the size of the hotel. I do not like large territories, as it is not very comfortable, but again, this is not for everybody. And from the experience of last year in Sharm, I felt a thrill from the first floor, when you don’t have to wander through the corridors, but just go out through the terrace and go to the beach. This year we were less fortunate and we ended up on the second floor. Ask first.
And a significant disadvantage of any BIG hotel and the code you get in the season - yes, the sunbeds were occupied at 5.30-6.00 in the morning. And what I didn’t like very much, I saw it myself, some German comes, gives the boy $ 10 on the beach and he dumps someone’s things on the sand (although they only left for 15 minutes for lunch and always return after it) and at the same time he also takes take their towels with you. For a lost towel you get 100 pounds

In general, read less reviews, I noticed a long time ago, not everything is as bad as many write. And they most likely write snobs dissatisfied with life
