The hotel is beautiful, but a bit run down and run down.
We arrived at the hotel at eight in the evening, at the reception we were immediately sent to dinner, so as not to remain hungry. We ordered a deluxe room, in principle, we got it: with a view of the sea, a beautiful courtyard with a pool and fountains and a small balcony. The room is spacious, but the furniture wants the best - already old, repaired in some places, a sofa with small gusts. Curtains (especially tulle) - dirty, not washed, stained, as well as glass at the exit to the balcony, which was very striking. Doors and tiles with plinths also want the best, it is clear that there is not enough care, timely repair. But... This magnificent rest did not interfere. The cuisine is excellent, for all tastes. All bars were open except for the pool bar with jacuzzi. It was possible to drink cocktails and eat ice cream and enjoy tea with pastries (if it’s far from dinner). The animation is great, not intrusive. They played both bochu and volleyball and tennis, there was water aerobics, yoga. Every evening parties were held in the hall: contests, dances, live music, fakir shows. . .
A 10-year-old child lacked water slides... The beach is excellent, sandy, in some places there are still a few stones. For a day, several times we swam to two small reefs within the beach fenced with buoys, admired the beautiful fish.

The problem with sunbeds was small, for 10 days it was not possible to take a sunbed on the first line - the beach workers themselves occupied it, and then, at their discretion, offered vacationers for a tip.
The room was cleaned mediocre, for several times the tips left only once made a beautiful crocodile out of towels...
The ventilation was periodically noisy in the room... The first couple of nights it was unusual, then they did not pay attention...
Of the restaurants did not like the service in Italian. The dishes we ordered were known in advance, not only did they wait an hour for the second, they also brought us chicken instead of fish. They apologized, they made a mistake in the translation (by all means, intentionally).
If the question arises, to come to the Old Palace again, then yes, we will come))). But I would very much like such trifles as dirty tulle and stained glass to no longer occur...
