All bars were open except for the pool bar with jacuzzi. It was possible to drink cocktails and eat ice cream and enjoy tea with pastries (if it’s far from dinner). The animation is great, not intrusive. They played both bochu and volleyball and tennis, there was water aerobics, yoga. Every evening parties were held in the hall: contests, dances, live music, fakir shows. . .
A 10-year-old child lacked water slides... The beach is excellent, sandy, in some places there are still a few stones. For a day, several times we swam to two small reefs within the beach fenced with buoys, admired the beautiful fish.
The problem with sunbeds was small, for 10 days it was not possible to take a sunbed on the first line - the beach workers themselves occupied it, and then, at their discretion, offered vacationers for a tip.

And so, the place is very beautiful, the sea is clean, smooth entrance to the sea, calm all the time. Promenade to the entire bay, in both directions - 8 km. You can ride bikes, you can drive cars. And no people : )

The very name "Old Palace" speaks for itself. The hotel is tired. The furniture is tired, the plumbing is too, the bathroom is another story. The bathroom itself is very narrow. The room has everything: kettle, coffee-tea set, safe, hair dryer. . . In principle, clean.
Mosquitoes!! ! How many times have been in Hurghada, and constantly in November, but faced with such an invasion for the first time. They missed the fact that it was necessary to take the Raptor. And forgot to buy it.

All staff were wearing masks, and restaurant workers mask + gloves. The tables were at a sufficient distance from each other, each had antiseptics (which is very convenient). The temperature was taken before dinner. The food is very good, varied: potatoes in any form, rice, pasta, beef, chicken, grilled meat, cream soups, stews, all possible desserts, salads, vegetables, fruits and much more (not at once, of course, but 100% there was no identical menu for the week), they pour meat as much as you ask, you won’t stay hungry.

It was comfortable to rest, any of our additional requests for a room, service were fulfilled very quickly! )
Nice spacious beach. The sunbeds on the beach are just a song. Very soft, comfortable!
The territory is well-groomed, every day we watched something being repaired, cleaned, ennobled, which is super!
Special thanks to the animators (especially Tatyana : )) for the daily mini concerts in the lobby! ) It was cool, thank you very much! )
The wind in November was almost not felt, if you walk to Tropitel, it’s a nightmare there... but here it’s still quite windless : )
P. S. The TVs in the Sea/pool room are new 52" or larger. 1 of the 2 shifted beds creaked, but here, alas, Egypt is Egypt, not without jambs : ) it didn’t interfere with sleep
On the beach, no one walks does not stick (probably the crown).
