We stayed at the hotel at the beginning of May. Diverse impressions:
1. We arrived at the hotel in district 9. We were not offered breakfast, but snacks were displayed in the lobby and ask what you want at the bar. Since we were with a child, they asked for a room (if possible) to give it early, because from 13 the child has a daytime sleep - we were offered around 11, but it was impossible to see - I refused to take it without viewing, and I did the right thing. Although we had to wait 14, but then I was in the right and asked first to show the room - well, what can I say, they gave us access to the amphitheater (and there was probably a rehearsal and the music was playing at full speed) and the main air conditioner, which was very buzzing - in this situation, there is no way to put the child to bed (although she asked for a quiet number). The issue was resolved only when the hotel administration was connected closer to 15-15.30.
2. The territory of the hotel is small, there are few greenery trees, really for a family holiday. Animation in the evening in the amphitheater, first for children (always the same, during the day they also rehearse with an animator near the pools), and then for adults (all the time different). At the same time, there is also some kind of entertainment program in the lobby. During the day, separate animation for children and adults (yoga, some games). Nearby there is something like a playroom with an animator (but I don’t see the point of being there - if you already flew to the sea, then you need the child to breathe sea air, and not sit in an enclosed room with air conditioning).

3. There are 4 separate pools (all without heating) of different depths (the smallest is 50 cm). They were cleaned every day, there are sun loungers near them - but we did not use this, since we flew to the sea). There is also a bar in the center of the central pool.
4. Beach. The territory is quite large, but the normal entrance is about 100 m. The beach is not sandy! - it's rather very small pebbles - if it's hard to walk on tender legs, especially since the sand is very hot - I recommend slippers. To the right, behind the normal entrance, a coral plateau begins - some walked in slippers, looked at the fish. At the end of the hotel (even behind the hotel) there is a long pontoon. This is a pontoon of another hotel, but since it does not work, we can walk on the pontoon - a very beautiful view while walking, and you can dive from the pontoon. In general, barcelo hotels do not work on the right and left, so you can walk along the coasts of these hotels and take beautiful pictures without a crowd of people behind you) (there will be reefs on the right, a sand and pebble entry on the left).
There are really problems with sunbeds, there are really few of them, some are occupied right from the night! There is also a bar on the beach. For an additional fee on the beach there is: a hookah, you can ride a camel, windsurf, I also saw that people learned to scuba dive.
The big plus of the location is that there were no yachts / boats / boats here - you can safely enjoy the open spaces of the sea and clear water). But it’s often windy here, so it’s hard to guess what period you’ll get (when we were, there was wind and big waves for half the days - you could only ride the waves standing still, and then they didn’t let you in for one day).
5. Food is normal, as always. There are many, there are plenty to choose from. There were always enough tables, but I don’t advise you to come right at the beginning of the meal - you will stand in lines at the distribution.

6. The rooms are big and good. Different rooms have different beds - there are separate single beds, there is one large one. But in each room there is a separate sofa for the child - so you can not ask for any extra beds. The set is standard - a TV (we did not turn it on), a mini-fridge, a free safe, a bottle of water was brought to the room every day.
7. Service. Here the impression is not very good. The Egyptian staff is very polite, they treat children very well, but our Russian-speaking girls are a horror (does not apply to animation). The room was cleaned every day (but more nominally, they didn’t even sweep under the tables-beds). By the way, there is an entrance for a router (if you take a router and a cable, then the Internet will be not only in the lobby. In general, they have cables, but there are not enough of them, they gave us only on the 3rd day, when the departing returned). Soap/gels/shampoos/toilet paper - if you haven't used it, the staff doesn't report a new one, even if the tube is half used - only if it's thrown in the trash. There was also a problem with the guest service (our Russian speaker is in charge) - I asked for an extra sheet for the child, as it was hot under the duvet cover, they brought it to the room. But I moved it to another room (because I was traveling with my parents, they took two numbers - and according to the numbers in their database, we lived the other way around - they are in our room, and we are in theirs). So, the day before leaving, the head of the guest service called the room and said that she knew that I (attention) STole the sheet and bathrobe and was going to take them away - they saw on the cameras. The rudeness is amazing. On the day of departure, I showed everything to the cleaner who came to take the room, he said that everything was ok. And attention - when the bus has already arrived and everyone began to load, this lady comes out and says that open your suitcases, you stole the property of the hotel, otherwise she will call the police. To all the arguments that they showed everything to the cleaner, and everything really lies in the room, and it’s not ethical to climb into suitcases - she said that she would call the police. Although the truth was ours (and maybe we could still apply for moral compensation), but since the bus was already waiting and we didn’t want to be late for the plane (especially with a child), we opened all 4 suitcases - they all looked, nothing of course they didn’t find it, and all that the lady said was “sorry” (although the Egyptians tried to curry favor after that). A very unpleasant attitude - who prevented her from coming to the room when we called on the phone that we were renting it and checking everything ourselves, and not bringing it to this.
In general, we are in Egypt for the 8th time (were both in Sharm and Hurghada) and there are better hotels.
