If I had not been so outraged by almost every thing in this hotel I would not have wasted my time.
Unfortunately, they relied on a travel agency and especially didn’t read what people write for themselves... the retribution did not take long.
I am a citizen of the world. I have been to many places and seen many things. On average one country each month. Not rich. I always choose the average.
My wife bought this hotel for a week. Were visiting her relatives in Moldova. From there they flew. Bought tickets 2 months before departure. Price … I think above average. For 4 people in 2 rooms we paid $4k. I thought that it was okay that it was more expensive than I would like, but it would be better)) I was wrong.

The flight was early. We were at the hotel at 10 am. We had to wait 4-5 hours in the lobby. There are no other options. We waited without internet. There is a special password associated with the number. But the truth was allowed to go to eat. Upon arrival at a wonderful 5 star hotel, there were cocktails, meetings with music, smiles, etc... oh no, it wasn’t here)) But there was nothing here. Nobody cared about us. And so it went on for 7 days. At 2 o'clock we were not settled. Somewhere around 3pm. They say go out into the street, a car is waiting for you there... immediately alerted me. There are 2 seats in the car. Drivers and a passenger. The rest are in the back with bags. Such an electric cart. He took me somewhere... I thought these were staff houses. We entered a smooth room. The windows overlook... other windows. The balcony was covered with rubbish too. The second room was given even more dirty, smaller and without a balcony. Were very tired and needed a shower. Then immediately to the front desk to swear. We flew right from the states, without any special expectations. But they were not ready for this. I told them so at the front desk. They say we understand. But there are no other rooms except for utility rooms... we are in shock. But the next day they promised to move to the main building. In general, we spent the night like that. Mood 0.
The next day, as we were told, we were at 2 pm at the front desk (and not on the beach, as we would like). They gave me numbers. Threw things there and on the beach . .
Shock in the evening. Both rooms are smoky. Everything stank. Curtains, sofas, even toilet paper. The toilets stank of toilet bowls and cigarettes. Such a cocktail of stench. Honestly, there was no strength for another move on the same day. Couldn't sleep at night. I don't smoke and I can't stand the smell of cigarettes. Everything stinks. All things... in the morning to the front desk immediately. Said. Arrive at 2 o'clock. Again the same story... there are a lot of people in the lobby. Mess. Dirt. Everyone is complaining. And the numbers change. I'm shocked.
I arrived at 2. I did not want to communicate with the soldiers at the front of the demo anymore. We needed a manager. While standing in line, the manager came by himself. He asked what is needed. I suggested that we go and sit down at the table. All laid out. His name was Tariq. He behaved very professionally, as a manager should behave. First of all, he apologized. At least someone....))) then promised that by the end of the day he would find rooms for us with a view of the water and in good condition. He kept his word. It was nice. This of course at least somehow brightened up the stay. In general, he acted as a manager and should.

The hotel was built in the 80s. Everything is old. But even this could be reconciled if the price corresponded...
We had another package with a beautiful name. Premium plus or something like that. Some kind of premium drinks as they said, and another useless story. In fact… it all means absolutely nothing.

Monkeys are constantly walking on the beach trying to sell all sorts of rubbish. Worry in short. There is no peace. Not random. Kind of like a hotel. Xs. Garbage bins near the sunbeds are dirty and smelly. They rarely clean up there. The beds are old. Pleasant little... but bearable...

5 stars. The rooms are ugly too. No iron. Went in crumpled clothes. I didn't want to be there. Even overlooking the water. The corridors are noisy. They wake up at night. At the front desk they are convinced that smoking is prohibited. But there are always ashtrays in the room on the balcony and in the toilet. With branded matches of theirs...
Bars and Alcohol... I immediately say I drink little. Light cocktails... in general, the bars are miserable. Everything is terrible. Beer. There are some bottles on the display. All for extra. How much, etc. , they decide to pay extra at the place. But I don't want anything. Included there total maybe 10 cocktails. Some kind of left... Not one of the cocktails has ever been made Normally. There were a lot of cases. They just pour everything. Whatever. I ordered a Daiquiri - I got a pure whiskey, for example... if I complained, they can add some kind of juice there. If you want a standard drink for relaxation like there Margarita, Moscow Mule, Kahlua coffee, etc, then this is for a fee. If they do, you won't drink.

Food…. On par with alcohol. Horror. Maximum. Everything is missing. There is no assortment. Same thing for breakfast lunch and dinner every day.
I ordered dinner in the old town and warmed up in the hotel a couple of times in order to somehow survive. I haven't eaten anything on the last day. Everyone's stomach hurt.
You might ask. . . restaurants. . . Yes. Usually in hotels it diversifies, not in this one. Everything is terrible. We have never had so much unfinished food in our family. No jokes or exaggerations. There is something to compare.
Before that, I thought that the Dominican Republic had bad food... we all wanted to return to the Dominican Republic here)) but before that we spat.

Restaurants... you need to sign up at the reception. So always busy according to them. Or maybe 9. And we don't eat that late. And they give some kind of coupons that you need to keep and this is a pass to the restaurant. If you come like that, they say that everything is busy and they will not let you in. At the same time there is one table occupied. This is not an exaggeration. One table. Or none. But at least it's not a big loss. Nevertheless, I tried all the restaurants. I will say with confidence. Kakaha all this. Well 1.5 stars out of 5 maybe. The reservation system, etc. is to blame. Well, the quality))
Service... it simply does not exist. Don't sit at the buffet. If you sit down no one will come to clear the table. Not after you. And for you. So you sit there hungry and wait for them to take it away. All employees FSUs. They are missing. They are tired. Some people realized that I was leaving tea, and in fact they served us.
I asked a random person for a cappuccino. He brought coffee with milk in half an hour. I tell him I want a cappuccino. He looks at me and says this is a cappuccino... Like I'm an idiot. Then he asked his dude and he brought everything you need. I got $2 for a tip.
Lobby bar…. 24 hours available for vacationers… laughter. I had to use it a couple of times early in the morning. Wanted coffee. The first time I waited and shouted there for 15 minutes for something to come up. Got coffee. Check out was at 4:45 am. I came to the lobby at 4:20 I think I'll have a coffee. Looks like this time is not included in their 24 hours))) waited, called, asked the front desk. The person came at 4:40 but closed in a closet like washes glasses. I left at 4:50 in the morning without coffee. Still angry)) I love coffee in the morning . .
Entertainment... the theater is there, all sorts of programs... No, I haven’t seen it. Somewhere they said there is a theater. I didn't find it. A team of a couple of animators are able to cheer up 6-year-old children. I think they have such a task.
It was the worst holiday in the price / quality category. I consider my opinion to be objective. It's not the end of the world for me. I’m going to Mexico in a couple of weeks and I’ll rest from this horror)) I wouldn’t be outraged if everything here cost 1000-1200 with a flight for two. I would say, well, what do you want from a low price... for 2000 for two, this is a hoax. In a country where this is an annual salary for many... SCAM.
